This was one of the most empowering and amazing thing I have ever experienced. Gillian is such a kind soul, and was so knowledgeable about cold exposure. Being able to control your own mind, and your reflexes like that was something that was so life changing for me. I highly recommend For the Love of Ice to anyone!

I cannot say enough great things about my experiences at For the Love of Ice. The atmosphere and decor is so warm and inviting, Gillian is awesome at what she does in providing a space to explore and expand. This was my first experience in cold plunging and I haven't looked back. I highly recommend plunging with a professional first, and Gillian was amazing through the whole experience. I have since incorporated plunging into my weekly habits and the health benefits physically and mentally are undeniable. Thank you for continuing to offer this amazing experience in our community.

I had an opportunity to try the ice bath this past weekend at an event the Yoga Barn in Hanover held. I was nervous to try it, but Gillian made me feel so safe, and helped through the breathing process. It was amazing! So hard to explain all the feelings you encounter through an ice bath, but all positive, and so, so worth it! Gillian is such a wonderful soul! I will definitely be visiting her beautiful studio to get the full ice bath experience! Do yourself a favour and be sure to try this!

I wanted to check out Gillian’s space since she opened and finally challenged myself to do so! From the moment I walked in, I immediately knew I trusted Gillian and allowed myself to surrender to anything and everything within the next hour with her. She has a special gift to allow you to feel safe, loved, supported and at peace amongst the discomfort and nerves you may be feeling. I felt like I had known her forever (even though we just met!). Such a powerful and empowering experience of breath work, sauna and an ice bath and is truly incomparable. If you’re even thinking about it - JUST GO!!!! Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve had 2 amazing experiences here so far and plan to have more! I went once by myself for a session and once with a group. Gillian is amazing,caring and very knowledgeable. She makes the experience of cold plunging much less intimidating for a beginner and helps guide you the whole time. I wish she was closer to where I live but it’s definitely worth the drive!

To say I’m ADDICTED would be an understatement. Gillian is an amazing soul and is made to help others. My first session with Gillian was in November and I have been back 7-8 times since then. She is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable, relaxed and confident. Ever since I have started ice baths my depression and anxiety has subsided substantially. I will continue to see Gillian monthly as I truly believe in what she does and the way I feel doesn’t lie!

As soon as I walked through the door I felt that I was greeted by a long lost friend. Gillian provided a safe and judge free space. Her breathing techniques enabled me to open up and release feelings I had been holding in. I was anxious about the ice bath but she was right there to guide me and support me through the whole process. The service at For The Love of Ice Baths is second to none. I have been back several times and will continue to return for the exceptional service and experience

Gillian has a true gift and so good at what she does. You can tell she is passionate about helping others and the work that she does. She has created a beautiful, safe space to get uncomfortable in the most wonderful way. She is there with you every step of the way and has a very calming presence. I would highly recommend booking a session and challenging yourself. I will definitely be back!
