I've been having a great experience shopping there lately alot has changed, the place is so much cleaner and alot neater compared to what it was! The shelves are stocked. Prices are always budget friendly compared to it's competitor, staff is also very friendly.

Over the years FreshCo started offering wider cultures now in Peterborough you can get all the Halal grocery without any difficulty that is a great move by the Peterborough FreshCo it shows their change of heart as just couple of years back even after request they never wanted to cater for other cultures

No variety of products and no self checkouts. Cashier threw the receipt at us and didn't say thank you or have a good day or anything after the transaction, just turned to another employee and started talking about a drug dealer. Self checkouts have better customer service and they're cheaper.

I regularly shop at this Freshco . The produce is fresh and the prices are cheaper than other grocery stores. I noticed some improvements recently and was told they have a new manager. It has never looked better in terms of cleanliness and the shelves being well stocked.

Freshco is usually my go to place, but I was shocked when I was in the other day to see the gauging that is happening… example…$11.99…for a watermelon!!!! I guess this is just the world we are living in, so I shared this pic with friends of ours who live in Whitby…same item…same week. One of these things is not like the other. We are already being gauged with everything else it would be nice if this grocery store were more realistic and fair with their prices.

went here with my boyfriend and his friend, my boyfriend was going to purchase 2 cases of beer for HIMSELF. he is legal age, provided proper ID. the cashier asked if my boyfriends friend also had ID, he did not as he wasn’t the one purchasing and is underage. so they were refused the purchase, even though the items were already partially paid for. the cashier then proceeded to say she had already smart served my boyfriend’s friend in the past after he said he was underage and wasn’t planning on drinking the beer. moral of the story; this location is irresponsible, serves alcohol to minors, and does not properly ID customers.

Most of the grocery is available, Indian food is also there. Self checkout is not available but staff is enough that you want be in a line for or wait long for billing. Big enough and therefore sometimes it gets hard to find our needs. But in that case their staff will assist you. Overall experience is very good.
