Southcote 53 Tap and Grill
Seemed to be a lot of confusion that night as the weather did not cooperate for the patio. People wanted outside but was too cold and then wanted to move inside but they did not seem prepared for it although had plenty of space inside. I could see on the faces of many of the servers that they were not happy. We were extremely slow to be greeted and receive our drinks but after that it was fine. Spinach Dip was good but my wings were very overcooked and the sauce poured on top not tossed. The ranch dressing had a skin on it a downfall of preparing and leaving on covered in the fridge. Both desserts ordered were stale. Overall an okay experience. I would return for drinks only buy not the food.

We booked the Molson Room for a small baby shower on Mother's Day weekend. The room is small, stuffy and extremely hot. Service was great. Our server was very kind and on top of drinks. Cocktails and beer were great. I ordered mojitos and they were excellent with fresh mint and lime. The food however was mediocre at best. We had a party of 12, and no one really enjoyed anything they ordered and the food is pretty expensive. I don't think I'd go back again to eat. I would if it were just for drinks.

We go for Tuesday trivia which typically brings a good crowd. Atmosphere is cozy, servers are friendly and check in throughout the night to make sure you're taken care of. Food is decent, typical pub fare

Went for dinner on Sunday. Tried there roast beef dinner as it was their special that day. Food was good - the veggies were especially tasty and the cheesecake was delicious. Great value for this dinner.Best of all was our server - Janis - she was very pleasant, efficient and easy to talk to.Would definitely go back especially if we would have Janis again - she was great

Party of 6, stopped by after a golf game on Saturday. It wasn't too busy when we stopped by but service was extremely slow. We waited around 40 minutes for our dinner and another 40 minutes for our bill. Food was mediocre, no one really enjoyed their food. We ordered some fish, ribs/wings, curry, salads, burgers and a few appetizers. The inside is very old and a lot of wear and tear. Menus are dirty and our table was very sticky. Our party did not enjoy our experience here and we will not be back.

Last month, our family held a Celebration of Life for my parents in the large private event space at Southcote 53. It couldn't have gone any better. The venue turned out to be perfect, the food (appetizers) was great, and the service (thanks, Lisa) was excellent. We included the extra of having white table cloths which elevated the look". We also had a tea/coffee/punch table as well as the availability of drinks from the bar.There was plenty of seating for all who attended (we had 37 people

Perfect spot to celebrate my birthday! They were able to accomodate large groups as they have a large dining area,and patio space. The food is amazing! The servers are on point! The drinks just kept on coming! and I can't thank them enough for having my family, friends, and I this past weekend!We all had such a great time!Bonus Point: There was no limit set of hours for our gathering. which made it so much easier!

South core 53 is a good place for lunch, bright and airy building and a great patio. The lunch crowd is a bit on the elderly side but that is an indicator that the food is great.I would go back anytime for lunch, the prices weren’t too bad either

Terrible meal. I ordered wings but they were dry but also greasy. I sent them back and decided to try a salad with chicken. Again chicken was horribly dry. I sent that back as well.Server was lovely, but a manager didn't even come to check on us even though I watched him walk past our table several times.Very disappointing. I won't be returning.

Southcote 53 Tap and Grill
Last night, five of us went for dinner. Our server, Lisa, was absolutely awesome. She was very friendly, energetic, and helpful. Her food recommendations were spot on. Each and everyone of us enjoyed our meal thoroughly. The appetizers we ordered were great and so were our main courses. Everyone went home fall and happy. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful evening.
