We wanted to try this place out since we were in the area and were in the mood for Mexican food.The food and service were great, and the ambiance was nice and cozy.The portion size of most of the food is pretty small, and the price you are paying may leave you feeling disappointed and/or hungry.If you aren't concerned about spending money, this would be a good spot for a date or even a night out with friends.

We live in New York and we’re visiting MTL on the weekend and found this place on google; we love Mexican food and I’m so glad we ended up here; my wife had 2 margaritas and I had their very own beer “Chela”; it was very good and I love the design on the can. We ordered the ceviche followed by the tacos de barbacoa and the Birria tacos and everything was so good…; the presentation; the flavor, the sauce!!! Too good in my opinion; we ended up ordering a second order of birria tacos; that’s how much we liked them; food came out very quickly which caught us by surprise; we didn’t want to be rushed and we were sitting by the bar. Everyone was very nice. The owner was very nice; VIVA MEXICO.

Excellent!!! Being from Mexican descent, this is the closest place to it! Great food, excellent service! Roberto, the owner, is an amazing host when you catch him behind the bar or walking around. His father makes one amazing Michelada!! Highly recommend. Ended up coming 3 times while my 5 days in Montreal.

Great tacos, we had the birria, cochinita and barranco ones and they were honestly very tasty. They definitely give you your money's worth of meat.The entrance quesadillas were okay, I wouldn't get it again but the guac was good, small portion though.Delicious cocktails and great service!

I came multiple times before for dinner. Birria tacos and Pastor are a must! Today I tried it for brunch and it won’t be the last time. I just had this delicious chilaquiles and fresh orange juice! Staff as friendly as always!Service and food on point :)

Would have loved to go back however with a restaurant discriminating me having a disability that requires a service dog I will not go back.We were there for over an hour, when we got there, the restaurant was half full only with at least 5 empty tables. Then entire time we were there one couple came in and multiple couples left. This gives me the impression that with a service dog they did not want us sitting at a Norma table.The food was amazing and very authentic, our only problem was that I had a service dog with me and at first they said they were all booked up for the night, then decided there was room at the completely empty bar and stuck us in the corner of the bar.

It was my first time and it didn't disappoint. I had a mojito (excellent), the sopa azteca and the ceviche. The service was attentive, the two ladies serving us were very kind.

We were at the bar for Cinco de Mayo, the food was exquisite and their mezcal even better (we tried an early access of some pretty fantastic artisanal stuff! Yum). The staff was great, it was a super busy night but we never had to wait, they worked really well and were super nice. If you make it to desert, you have to try the Très Lèches cake

Solid four star experience. Their Mole Negro has the sweetness on point, however, it lacked the layered Smokey complexity I hope for. It was good, but like a béchamel absent browned butter and nutmeg.
