BMO Bank of Montreal

Wow! This branch is something else! Huge line up only two cashiers working. Both don’t know how to do anything. Both helping one customer. Asked the manager if there are more cashiers available. “It’s a busy day, we already have two!” Hahaha. What a clown!!! BMO should be ashamed of this branch!

It's 4pm on Wednesday. Long line of people and this branch has two employees helping 1 customer at a time trying to figure out how to process some transactions. Nobody else to help them. I would rather bank somewhere else. Closing my accounts. Bye bye

Dealing with a fraud case, employee on the phone tells me I need to go down in person to speak with a branch manager, no appointment needed. Tried calling the branch directly to make sure the manager is in the building, multiple phone calls no answer. Go down to the branch in person, the one lone teller says I can't see the manager she isn't available. Turns out she is hiding in her office not dealing with any customers and just doesn't want to speak with us. Not until I got visibly upset did she emerge from her office to say she can't help me and she'll have to call back. What kind of customer service is that from the manager, hide in the office making the teller deal with her problem.

I have to sey, they are at a good location.

Horrible. One teller no one to help her and always have to wait to do commercial deposits. 30 minutes now and people have left and 4 behind me.

I have banked with BMO for my whole life. No more. Bad customer service. Can't buy crypto. Isn't worth banking with them anymore. I will be closing my accounts.

Terrible customer service, extremely long wait times, unimaginably bad hours and there i le over the phone. Amazing how bad the #1 bank in canada is

HORRIBLE SERVICE!As I sit here once again, I am a weekly business customer who needs to come into branch to do deposits for our local business. Every week is the same unacceptable POOR customer service. This should NOT be a branch open to customers if we're can't be served efficiently. There should be absolutely no excuse why other branch employee do not get out of their desks and help with Teller services, they must be qualified if they have office jobs sitting behind glass walls looking at all of the disgruntled customers. I don't have a choice to come here to do deposits but I can assure I would never personally bank with BMO due to this. I will also send my review on experiences to head offices in Canada. Please don't offer me the template response you offer to all complaints. Also, don't bother forwarding to branch manager because he is awful and exceptionally rude, I can't believe that a big bank" would employ such personnel after several bad reviews and complaints."

Honestly so disappointed in this bank and especially with Justin illingworth (the branch manager). My brother is a missing person and we attempted to go into the bank to PAY HIS BILLs and we were TURNED AWAY. When I asked to speak with Justin illingworth the teller said he was too busy- as he smiled and waved at us. I asked if we could speak with him and allow the people behind us to work with the teller. The poor teller told us he said no (WHILE HE JUST SAT AND WATCHED THIS). The teller told us she was struggling and that she was the only teller on as they were short staffed. I ended up approaching this Justin who sat and smiled at us. I asked why he sat there and smiled at us when clearly his employee was struggling. He responded with “She’s fine” I feel bad for all the employees that work for Justin illingworth. The way he treats his employees and customers is disgusting. BMO do better. Clearly he has lost touch with reality sitting in his glass box. Justin- when you’re short staff- check in with your staff and customers. Don’t smile and say meh they are fine. Don’t walk run to any other BMO.

We have been working with Cindy Rogers from BMO on Bernard Avenue to complete a business acquisition. We are beyond happy with how professional, helpful and knowledgeable Cindy has been with us. Cindy is a fantastic asset to BMO and is very well known in Kelowna for her awesome work ethic and communication. We also want to give a shout to BMO themselves as they have made the entire acquisition process a lot easier than the other banks that we approached. Thank you Cindy for everything that you have done for us, you really do deserve more than 5 stars.
