Been doing my hair since 2019, and I’m always happy. It’s a little pricy but you get what you pay for. Great services for natural hair plus extensions.

It pains me to have to give such a low rating because the lady who did my hair was really nice, but my issue is not with her.When I booked my timeslot to get my hair braided, it said 9am-3pm. As a result of this, I planned to go somewhere at 4pm. The person who did my hair did not finish until 6pm. That is 3hrs after the booking claimed my hair would be done. I had to cancel my plans. This is the 3RD TIME I came to get my hair done and EVERY SINGLE TIME they go hours over the allotted time. I thought the first couple times were just because they were running behind, but I was the ONLY person in the store that day and they STILL could not complete my hair on time. It seems as though the client's time is NOT respected. If you know you can't complete someone's hair in a certain time, don't provide false information on the website. Saying that you can finish hair in 6hrs when it actually takes you 9 is MISLEADING and ridiculous.I have friends who refuse to come to this salon for that very same reason. It would be wise for them to change the booking times on their website to something more realistic or they will continue to lose business.

I've been here twice and both times, I've had outstanding service. Prior to visiting this business, I was hesitant to braid my hair because I always lost my edges after braiding and the hair never looked good after a month. This salon and Jules was the exception. I returned because of the level of care she took in protecting my edges and how good the hair looks regardless of how old it is. I mean, the compliments just keep rolling in and she is great at listening to you. I would 100% recommend.

I’be been going to Jules for 4 years now and never have they disappointed me. I love all the service they provide and their prices are honestly pretty reasonable compared to other salons. In all best place to go for any service wheather it’s haircuts, braids, or just anything in general!

I am giving this business a one star, for the blatant lack of communication, commitment and respect for my time.I booked a hair appointment on Dec 17th for 1pm and called ahead at 1245 to inform the staff that I would be a few minutes behind.The owner spoke to me saying that the assigned staff for the job was not at the salon and that staff was actually braiding another client’s hair. The owner emphasized that she did not want me to arrive and wait on said staff.Instead, the owner asked that I wait at home and that she would give me a called back. After 30 mins of waiting on her call and not receiving one, I called and called several times with no response.I had to look for other braiders in the city last minute, as this was my only day off.It’s been more that 30 hrs yet no calls, text or an email to explain why my appointment was never kept.I had a previous experience with the owner, where She was assigned to make my child’s hair and I was told by her to wait, while she goes to the back of the salon.I was with just one staff in the salon and the staff said that she was leaving, she needed to lock up and that there was no one else left in the salon.I was confused to find out that the owner who just told me that she was going to the back was not in the salon.I decided to wait on her because I really needed the service. After waiting over 30 mins, the owner walked saying she had to do a daycare run.My issue was her not telling me from the onset that she had to pick up her child. I have no issue with this because I have children too but I did not appreciate the lack of sincerity and respect for my time.Initially i made excuses for this growing business and I love to support home grown businesses but it is clear that this business has no respect for its clientele.

Hair by jules are professional and very good at their work. I always look forward doing business with them. Their work is very detail and beautiful to behold. very nice to her consumer .

I always love my experience at the salon. The owner and the staff are professional, and the different hair styles I've done are carried for as long as I like.
