My fav second hand in the city. It’s using the hype of second hand by reselling for quite a high price

There’s an amazing selection of clothing and shoes but the workers were literally so rude and very unwelcoming. They also priced a jacket I was looking to buy at $22 but when I went to check out they said they priced it wrong and changed the price to $50. I tried to ask for the original pricing since it was their mistake and that’s the policy at most stores but they refused to sell at the price they originally tagged it as and would only sell it for $50. I ended up buying it anyways because the cashier was clearly annoyed and I didn’t want to deal with the fuss lol.

Great vintage store for a wide variety of styles at pretty reasonable prices. Staff are always very friendly and helpful

Great selection of clothes, really wanted to like this place but the employees seem annoyed any time you ask a question. I’m not expecting crazy attentive customer service, but it would have been nice to not feel like the employees are frustrated with you when you ask for assistance.

I brought in two large bags of summer clothes. While the counter person was working and sorting through my bags. I spent an hour looking at the clothes on the racks, which were comparable to what I brought in. However, they turned down everything I brought it. Having spent over an hour looking around and then waiting for her to go through my bags, it seemed to me they were really only buying from regulars.

I brought two bags worth of high end items and waited two hours for them to sort. When I was called back the guy goes “ummmm I didn’t really look through them” and gave me $11.00 for a pair of very good condition Ralph Lauren rain boots which he put a price tag of $45.00 on to sell! I told him there were under armour leggings in there and a bra with the tags still in, a lulu top (Mabye it’s not a style of customers want. It was a classic racerback tank) and had Kenneth Cole mules …and like so many high end names that he felt “weren’t what his customers want”. I was absolutely shocked that he didn’t want the items with tags I brought high end with tags. The store itself had Zara and many regular brands and to be honest worn shoes ..and I had brought mint condition brand name shoes in comparison to what was on the shelf. So I didn’t understand why my mint condition shows with high end names like Kenneth Cole and banana republic were like snubbed. Will never go back! Very picky beyond belief and honestly I had all latest trends with brand names definately not out of style . One of the worst and most overpriced vintage stores I’ve seen. Parkdale is totally gentrified and snobby now wow !!!!

I’ve been in the store 10+ times with my baby stroller and not once have the ladies offered to help open and close the door they just look at me struggling with a blank stare or don’t even notice hahah it’s kind of funny the generational gap of youngins not understanding being a mother

This is my favourite place to second-hand shop. Staff are friendly & helpful, and I always find something great. Sucks to see their rating being lowered by people who don’t get how the store works. Yes, they are picky about buying - they’re obviously only going to purchase items they’re confident they can resell. But all good, more gems for the rest of us!

Huge waste of time, I went in for selling, the clothes were in great condition and for winter. Came back an hour later and not one was accepted, a few were Zara winter clothing that were literally worn once. There is no actual explanation, they don't let you know why they actually didn't accept them.
