I don't know about these negative reviews, Mr Pitblado was very knowledgeable, honest and supportive Mish and Linda were great too made a good positve atmosphere. If I ever need a lawyer again I would definitely be calling again. I hope not though.

Warning: Unless you have a profitable case [and by profitable I mean for Mr. Pitblado] I'm guessing you are wasting your time and money. I regrettably hired Mr. Pitblado at the beginning of the year. He had sent a ‘Demand Letter’ but after some consultation with other lawyers I realized it wasn’t a demand letter, but more of a brief and informal notification advising [the other party] that I had hired a lawyer. In the letter, he had referred to me as “…this lady…” which seemed like rather lax language for a formal legal letter. In any case, he asked me to have my witness provide a formal Witness Testimony letter - of which I did [in May] and emailed to him. Then I waited; but I also kept I mind that back in March Mr. Pitblado advised me that this process could take “a considerable amount of time”. After not hearing from him for weeks about ‘next steps’ - regarding the demand letter or the Witness Testimony I emailed - I attempted to get in touch with him in August. After a few emails and phone calls were unanswered I became concerned. I finally received a lengthy email response indicating my witness testimony was not likely strong enough [even though I had explained to him on my first visit specifically what my witness observed - it was good enough then] as well as some ‘what if’ scenarios. He indicated that I could proceed but there were no guarantees. After consulting with a few other lawyers I realized I didn’t really have a strong case after all, and that if I moved forward there was a reasonable chance I was not going to recuperate the amount spent.So, basically he told me I had a case, then appeared as though he forgot about my case, then told me I didn’t really have a case after all and then continued to bill me for my efforts to get in touch with him for an update.If Mr. Pitblado had taken the time to simply advise me initially on my chances of winning/not winning and presented the process and complexities [as had the following 2nd and 3rd legal opinions I received] I would not have moved forward. From my perspective, the amount I paid to him was for some advice, a few phone calls, emails and a notification letter.

My experience with Jonathan and his staff was excellent. I was always kept in the loop. He very smartly helped me with my issue and I am very satisfied with the overall transaction/outcome.
