Please avoid this location if u r looking to rent a Uhaul. They will add damage charges on your invoice to make more money.

I recently moved, I tried to get a truck from a close by convenience store, I reserved it 3 days in advance, this was at Freshway Convenience at 3504 Sandwich. It took 45 minutes for the cashier for the cashier to tell me that he didn't understand how to get me my reserved truck. I do not recommend reserving a U-Haul from this location (Freshway Convenience). I was extremely upset as I had a tight schedule, we had to transfer the reservation to another location (2890 Dougall). Arriving at the dougall location, Nicole had given me the keys within 3 minutes of me arriving. She did an absolutely amazing job figuring out what I needed and did an amazing customer service job. Hopefully the regional manager sees this and at least tells her that she did a great job being swift and actionable. I contacted U-Haul and received a $50 credit, which was great but I wouldn't have needed to make a complaint if I had dealt with Nicole in the first place. If you are moving in Windsor, I suggest going to this location and reserving your truck from here. Nicole provided excellent service, which made up for the sub par service I received at Freshway Convenience. 10/10 would recommend reserving trucks from this location!

I had originally rented the truck one day and told them it may be two days--they kept calling me 5- or 6When I dropped the rental truck, I noticed the front tire on my truck that I left here was pretty much flat-- I asked if I can use the air hose - there was two of them right there -- they would let me use the air hose and also they would not fill it.I had to leave with a flat tire--This is horrible customer Service --

This place is one of the worst Uhaul locations I have ever been too. Although half of the employees that work there call themself managers. One of those managers is extremely rude. Management is a joke over there. Most employees quit and new staff always coming. One of the manager is so unprofessional she will lie just to cover her self. After a disagreement with them because I booked online 2 days and they said only one is allowed. Save yourself the hassle just go somewhere else

I was charged an additional 45$ and there was no notification given. I spoke to multiple customer service representatives and was not told of the overcharge until I was brought to collections. I called and spoke to 5 additional representatives regarding receipts, incorrect emails and the details of my 170$ charge. I was told on the 6th call that I was incorrectly charged by $70 dollars. A credit ding for absolutely no reason.

We really enjoyed the free breakfast buffet, it was a suprise to us that they had a chef preparing custom made omlets. The service quality was of a 5 star Establishment!!! We will definitely return to rent something else, maybe next time we will bring the kids too!!

I had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with Dougall Branch. The staff engaged in fraudulent practices by charging me $522 for a scratch they claimed I caused on their van. Despite requesting pictures of the van when I rented it, they evaded my request and insisted it was my responsibility as a customer. This lack of transparency and dismissive behavior is unacceptable.During the rental process, I was assured that taking pictures of the U-Haul van was only necessary for major damages, not for scratches. However, upon returning the vehicle, i parked without evan a single scratch and the staff said they will email me the invoice and took the van for inspection. I don't when they move the vehicle form parking to inspection station they hit somewhere and scratched it. but now they claimed that I had caused a scratch and proceeded to charge me a whopping $522 for the alleged damage.The U-Haul branch's actions demonstrate a clear intent to exploit customers and extract money through dishonest means. Their refusal to provide evidence and unwillingness to resolve the issue fairly have left me deeply disappointed and questioning the integrity of the U-Haul brand.

My friend got charged more than $500 for the damage (a scratch) which was not from him. I was at the passenger side for the whole time and nothing happened. They just billed and emailed the receipt after we left the store. I would never rent any u-haul from this store.

We were sent to three wrong locations to return a U-Haul and when we finally got sent here after we had filled it up to half a tank it went down to a quarter tank we got reprimanded for not having it a half tank even though it was U-Haul that sent us to three wrong places and we ended up having to fork out another 80 bucks to fill it up to half a tank. I would recommend never using U-Haul always go with a private moving company you'll have a much better experience the U-Haul Depot made our move so much more stressful than it needed to be and was a headache to organize even picking up the truck we had to go to three different locations on the other side of Ontario because when we had booked at one location and showed up to pick up the truck on a day when the operating hours were 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and we got there at 9:00 a.m. and waited till 10:00 a.m. nobody was there terrible terrible service and experience. Never again.
