Shoppers Drug Mart

What has happened? Customer service is absolutely abysmal. At the medication pick-up counter there is nobody. An employee to the right of the counter doesn‘t even have the curtesy to look up, and say something like: somebody will be with you in a minute. Even after asking several times to co-ordinate the medications, so that they can be refilled at the same time, I am still waiting. Most of the cashiers don‘t say „boo“ when you get there or pay and leave. If you need assistance at the self-checkout, it takes for ever until somebody shows up. What happened to all the friendly staff who also used to work in the old Maple Avenue Location?

I don't regularly write these sorts of reviews and don't believe I've ever posted a negative review online. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was abysmal. I regularly shop at Shoppers Drug Mart, probably a couple times per week, and have never been faced such an obtuse and short-sighted individual as the front store manager Breanne.UPDATE: Dealt personally with the Pharmacist and Store Owner, Aimee. Aimee was professional, friendly and a joy to deal with; she did the right thing. Revised from one star to three.

Excellent customer service—a cheerful person in the pharmacy(12/18/21, 7:15p)very patiently answered all my questions regarding a Covid booster clinic. Wish I’d thought to ask her name, but she was very helpful.

One of the best run Shoppers Drug Marts I have been to. Staff are helpful, isles are clean and easy to shop, pharmacy is attentive and make sure you understand your prescription, great deals on products you need, earn points towards free stuff...and the new (larger) location is the icing on the cake! I love shopping here!

Booked a covid vaccine and received confirmation. When I reached, the pharmacist was very rude and was not apologietic. He told me to come back tomorrow. I live 30 minutes away and it is a major inconvenience.

Honestly the nicest Shoppers Drug Mart to shop at. The staff there are all amazing, they are always helpful and kind. The store is always clean too! I've shopped at a lot of Shoppers over the years and this is hands down the best one to go to. Highly recommend stopping here if you need anything!

While the place was very busy, (seniors day) the store was still very well stocked and the wait at the cash was almost nonexistent. We were able to find all that we needed and the cashier was very friendly and talkative when we cashed out. One of the better Shoppers I’ve been to.

Always a pleasure visiting this location; clean, well stocked and staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and ready to help you. Some GTA stores need to take lessons from this locations above average customer service!

Have been with this pharmacy since it was at the old location.....30 years ago with Amin. Always great and helpful staff. Lately, it's been a different pharmacist every time. No knowledge of individual patients. Impersonal.Tonight the (present) pharmacist was condescending and sarcastic. Not what you expect from your local pharmacist.......unless you were possibly in the city. I've had it with their change of ownership and multitude of temporary pharmacists. 30+ years of loyal business down the drain. It's sad. Aimee ran that pharmacy to a tee. 100%. Now I will move on to another one that seems more stable with its employees and policies. With any luck I won't be disappointed this time. Best wishes to Aimee, Brie and Heather. You all should be proud.

I absolutely enjoy ever visit to this store. I am always greeted at the front when entering with a “Hello”. Very clean and well maintained store, it’s always a pleasure to shop here. My most resent visit was to obtain baby Tylenol - with a sick little one at home and a coast to coast shortage, entering the store in hopes that they have some is a “tall order”. I approached the isle where the stock is kept and the shelve had a nice little note on it “if you require Tylenol products please speak to the pharmacist. I went to the counter and spoke with a very empathetic pharmacist that took the time to listen, I not only left with some Tylenol, I left with some super awesome advice on how support a little one through the fast spreading virus. Thank you so much for taking the time out and helping - I appreciate everyone in this store, all the employees are super friendly and I enjoy shopping here!!! I would give 10 stars if I could !!!
