Some of the employees at this location need retraining on basic customer service and customer experience. As someone who frequently shops at Sephora for many years now, spending thousands of dollars online and in their stores, the level of customer service that I experienced at this particular location from one of the BA named Xiomala was absolutely disheartening.I asked for a product that wasn't on the shelves but was showing in stock on the website (for buy online and pickup in store) so I asked her to help. I showed her the product page and refreshed it a few times and it said in stock at this location. She didn't bother to ask her other colleagues if there were any in the back or check in the drawers underneath. She dismissively said Even though it says online it stock doesn't mean we have it. I've never even seen that product before."I was completely taken back by her comment but I knew the product I wanted was right in the drawer so I asked another BA. After getting passed around by 3/4 associates

My experience is not that good because there was a man who was continuously following us . I know he could be lost prevention officer but he can’t stare at people shopping over there. I was feeling uncomfortable there.But the staff is very good and helpful.

Everytime I go here I get the same cashier and she’s really rude. Also slamming my cash or rolling her eyes. I understand retail is stressful but the atmosphere at this Sephora is always a mess. (From no one helping you to rude staff etc.) Go to Brentwood or Richmond Sephora, they have way better service.

The customer service here was just not there. I was very excited to come in store as it’s been a few years. I asked for assistance with picking out new makeup: foundation, concealer etc., an associate came over to help and I had very simple questions like what is the benefit of using a primer (I haven’t worn makeup in a while) but it seemed like she rather be anywhere else but. Answering in yes or no responses when I needed clarification, or not responding at all, just took the excitement out of the whole visit. I could have spent more but i just wanted to leave. I got to the cashier, no eye contact, scanned my items and told me the amount twice in between me asking questions. She acted inconvenienced and was just plain rude. It was a young lady, asian on the 2nd till from the right around 12pm on June 11. I know the store is busy but can you not spare even a couple minutes to answer my questions. I asked her 3 times, I even said I haven’t been in store in awhile so I wasn’t sure how things still worked and she completely ignored me. I got 4 items so it wasn’t like i wasn’t buying anything. I won’t be coming back to this location. I saw some happier looking associates on the sales floor and maybe I just got unlucky with the associates but service should be more consistent. I saw the way some of the other customers were treated too and I’m sad to see how it’s gone downhill. I’ve worked retail and this is not how you treat your customers.

This location is always nuts, and the employees always seem a little stressed.With that being said, Megan was an absolute angel! She was a bright shining light and I’m so glad that she was able to help me. Just the loveliest person I’ve dealt with in a retail environment in a long time. I understand how difficult retail can be sometimes…. But she was just an absolute delight. I hope Sephora treats her right, they’re definitely lucky to have her.

I had such an amazing experience in SEPHORA thanks to the wonderful staff, Kadija! Everyone there was good, but specially she was the outstanding one! She was always so passionate to help me whenever I had troubles in selecting items, also she never forgot to tell all good information about products. Even though she seemed busy, she still got good focus on customer service, and her bright and great manner made my day! I felt like she was enjoying her work dealing with customers with amazing service! Anyway, it was one of my best experience in Metropolis mall!

Very, very helpful store associates. I went in knowing what lipstick I had in mind, and in speaking with the associate, I was able to locate it and discuss the product and ask questions, and she didn't miss a beat. She was very enthusiastic and professional, and I was able to find exactly what I needed as well as extra info and advice. Great experience!

They have the most inviting staff, they greet you right away. I feel comfortable asking for help as soon as I get there, I was looking for dry skin product. A staff member was extremely helpful and even helped me to how the skins care steps work , the return policy is also amazing, I happened to buy wrong foundation but they accept refund warmly.
