The spice blends Dave and Sarah make are amazing. Not just for meat dishes either, they are very versatile. I use on Perogis, French fries, roasted vegetables. The Egyptian summer mixed with sour cream as a chip dip is a favorite! I have user Red Rub as a ceaser rim. So tasty!My personal favorite are the Porcini BBQ Genie and Espresso Nice spice blends.Very happy to see well deserved success!

These spices are amazing, and are so versatile! I love how easily I can elevate dishes with this line of products. They definitely build confidence in the kitchen too! The quality is always consistent, which I love.. but it definitely makes it hard to choose a favourite! Also - these make beautiful gifts without breaking the bank. I've given spices + whisk or spatula or mixing bowl as Christmas gifts in the past, and each time it's been a hit!

I was roommates back in school with Dave. When I saw he had started a spice blend company I wanted to support himself so I ordered a mix bag of blends. I was so blown away that my tattoo artist, father and father inlaw have all received their blends as gifts or tip.The Jerk, Egyptian summer, Mary had a lot of lamb, and ghost pepper taco are some of my favourites.Can't wait for more to be created... Cajun perhaps?!

Love Big Cove Foods so much!I’ve had a constant supply of their spices in my kitchen for years! My ongoing favs are Maple Mustard Harmonizer, Red Rub, and now Porcini BBQ! I take advantage of the 5 pack sample whenever there are new spice releases and even just to have variety to try out the new recipes they post on the website and Instagram!! They have something suitable for every dish -including dessert and beverages with their new Sweet Spices!!As a newbie cook just learning my way around the kitchen the variety and the endless ways to use their spices is key for me!! I’m always learning lots from Sarah and Dave!

Amazing spice mixes for almost any kind of cooking. We use Red Rub and Porcini BBQ Genie all the time but especially during BBQ season. Add some Taco Enhancer to a black bean dip and there will be nothing left in pretty short order. Awesome stuff.

I love all Big Cove Foods gourmet spices and products. I've used the spices to marinate for long or short time periods, and also season raw meats and vegetables right over the bbq or campfire, and the results are superior. This is a true time saver and the blends are so versatile and high quality you will be eating gourmet without the hassle of manually finding and preparing each herb and spice for your dish -all the work is done! The Kilted Chef TeamIn 2019 we came up with a concept to develop a branded seasoning. We were very clear on what we wanted, but we had no idea how to go about bringing it to fruition. That's when we teamed up with Big Cove Foods.Sarah and Dave worked with us through every step of the process. From ensuring that we had the correct blend, making sure that we met all safety guidelines, helping us develop a label that was market ready, and helping us source out packaging.The partnership between the Kilted Chef and Big Cove Foods ensured that our foray into the production side of our business was a seamless transaction. We would even say that they made the process not only educational but an extremely fun one as well.

Wow-- these are the best spices I have ever tried and great value too. I always get them at Xmas time as stocking stuffers. Try the recipes and our favourite is Red Rub although the maximum pie spice is great as well.

Dave and Sarah young dynamic couple.But don’t let that fool you…they are expert caramel makers…buttery…soft…chewy!And their spice blends create magical meals with just a sprinkle!My favourite is Mary had a Lamb…a blend of savoury and spicy herbs. I use it on and in everything!Chicken…veggies…seafood and meat.I’ve never used it in baking because Big Cove Pie Spice is perfect for that! It can replace plain cinnamon in any recipe…and add a unique flavour.Even good in chocolate chip cookies!!!!
