GNR Dance

The classes were good fun. Gerald has a wonderful sense of humour and he made all of us feel very comfortable. The constant mixing of dance partners resulted in a good learning experience for everyone.

I started doing group lessons as a beginner and found Gerald and Robin absolutely brilliant at making a nervous novice" feel comfortable and competent at getting some of the basics under my belt. Then I started attending the social dances and met an even larger community of friendly people who wanted to dance and have fun. And after a a few months of that

Hi y’all ,I’m a fairly confident , outgoing individual, however, when it comes to dance , this is not the case .I have discovered the dance scene in the last year and despite feeling quite awkward at first, I continued to pursue the lessons and dances as hosted and organized by Gerald of GNR dance .I have since made new friends and dance partners alike and am greatful for my new found social scene and friends.If like me you feel awkward to start , this will be replaced by curiosity and the joy of dance , the lighthearted approach the group provides and the calendar dates of the Friday night dance that I really look forward to.You will find a new energy for this great social activity and new network of aquatences, the group will enjoy your participation.Regards simon borley

Gerald and Robin are such easy going and fun instructors, it doesn't matter what your skill level is, you will learn something! Thanks for bringing my soul medicine to Squamish - love you guys!!
