Wow this place is freaking amazing. My friend and I had gotten the chicken poutine, and the Donaire poutine as well as the Elvis dawg let’s just I hate hot dogs but your blew me away. Definitely will be back.❤️

In my last three visits I have found there was a 30+ minute wait time. On our last visit I decided why not see if the food was worth the wait.Sadly, it wasn't.From order to getting our food to go was just over 65 minutes. The poutine felt as if it had been waiting a bit too as the fries were soggy (and no not due to gravy)The garlic in the 1/2lb donair was incredibly strong and instead of the meat being shaved or carved it looked as if they cut it off a loaf, and some slices were almost 1/4in thick.The donair sauce was sparse and overall it was disappointing.The macaroni and cheese with pull pork was not balanced as there was not a lot of cheese and the amount of pulled pork was small.The staff were very nice and apologized for the delay. The few staff members behind the counter were busy and I felt bad for them as they seemed to be playing a constant catch up with the orders.

Very busy! We all had burgs and we split a large poutine. The poutine was great, gravy the best, just the right seasoning and lots of cheese. Way too big for three of us.I liked my burger but mixed reactions from the other two.We will be back.

This place is absolutely amazing. Everything had amazing flavor, the staff was very friendly and even had Someone come over to our table and asked us how everything was. I definitely will be coming back there and keep up the good work guys.

The best takeout food I have had in a very long time, amazing portions also. It was busy but the staff worked very well under the pressure and kept pumping out orders at a constant pace, will deffinitly be back really good bang for your buck.

Food was absolutely amazing! Only thing that was a bummer was the hour wait for 2 poutines and a sandwich. Also seeing some of the staff try to sneak behind walls to sit on their phones when they are clearly visible to customers waiting on food. Would definitely be back though in a few months once they work out some kinks!

Wow! This place is amazing. Husband got Pulled Pork Poutine and I got Chicken Caesars Poutine. Both of the poutine were delicious. I couldn’t believe the size of a regular poutine, it was enough to feed a family. I recommend Big D’s Poutine to everyone.

My mouth is watering just thinking about my food today! Seating is limited and that is my only negative!!!! Delicious, amazing serving size, awesome price, amazing staff! I will be back again and again!! <3

We drove an hour to come check out big d’s and wow it was so worth it! I got the smash burger and a regular cheddar bacon poutine (the portions are extremely generous) my mom got the pierogi poutine and pulled pork Mac and cheese and it was SO SOOOO delicious! The employees were so kind and helpful, the friendliest bunch you will find in the restaurant business! Definitely a must try if you’re in the Saint John area!

Big D's Poutine
Often times half of my family can’t partake in poutine because we are vegan/vegetarian. The owner verified that the gravy is vegan…they also have vegan cheese, a vegan not dog and vegan burger. The prices are good and the portions are huge. I have a feeling that if I gain weight this summer it’s all the poutine’s fault.
