John Sweeney Catholic Elementary School

The school is extremely disrespectful of the neighbourhood it resides in , allowing parents to block residential driveways so people cant get home. They also will chase you down for passing by for trespassing" when going by to the local store. They push their traffic into the local streets which ive personally seen these parents litter along with diregarding of street safety laws darting out in the street with their children."

Great school I went there do 6 years of my life till I moved the teacher's there are great and nice and u will always fell safe and have the help u need at sky time

My daughter had a wonderful experience at this school. All the staff have been kind and helpful towards her and giving her the help she needs. My daughter always comes home happy and excited to tell us about her day. We are sad that she won't be able to spend her last 2 years there as we are moving. My husband and I fully support this school and the staff. We will miss you all.

This school is now and forever going to be remembered as the school that called police on a 4 year old child. What's more embarrassing is that these grown adults couldn't handle a 4 year old child.

Shame on this school. Criminalizing the behavior of four year old children. Don't send your child here. You risk them calling the police on them.

I hope they don't believe that the community will forget the forced restraint of a four-year-old child in a kindergarten classroom, which ended up the teachers calling THE POLICE. This is a school that will employ useless and under-educated staff with what looks like a clear racial bias. Don't let these things get swept under the rug. Don't let them deny this. If we don't stand up against this type of abuse, it will perpetuate.

People are decent, teachers are alright except Silva but Principals are mediocre and dont punish well. 1 day suspension for breaking someones leg (F***ing EJ) ☺ small school as well

I go to this school and it is preety good though i with the teachers would be a little bit more nice but they are great !

Calling the cops on a 4 year old? Like seriously ! What are you teaching your students? What are you preparing them for ?

Alright, lets get things straight. I went to this school for 10 years of my life so I am able to provide relevant information. First of all, it's actually a good school with good staff members. They make you feel included and content. Students are... something, but that shouldn't get in the way of how you feel about a school. Principles are fine, some were amazing, others were not. However, let's talk about that incident with the 4 year old kid. First, that is the first and only time something like that has happened there. Second, the kid himself was threatening the teachers. And third, teachers are not allowed to touch students so they had to get somebody else to help with the situation. That incident was a one time thing and should not ruin any reviews of this place. This school is a great place to bring any children for a great learning experience.
