Great Escape Cabins

Well, I just arrived home from my stay this weekend at Great Escape Cabins and I was blown away. The store has live bait and proper fishing gear along with everything else you may need. The part of the river they are on fishes really well and the cabins where clean and are set up perfect. I will be back for sure, thanks for a great time!

Awesome hospitality, very relaxed friendly vibe from Kaitlyn and Mike. Got stuck in a snowstorm and didn't arrive until 11 pm. They greeted us outside when we arrived with smiling faces and a welcoming energy that didn't make us feel rushed like we were an inconvenience even at that late hour and in a blizzard. Cabin was warm and outfitted with pretty much everything we could have needed. 10/10 would recommend. Will return if I ever need to stay in the area again for snowmobiling.

My Family suffered a tragic loss and these absolutely wonderful resort owners opened their doors and hearts to us. They went above and beyond. We stayed in Cabin 6 with the most wonderful view. The beds where so comfortable I'm fairly certain I need to buy myself a new one now". Family owned and operated. All hands on deck even the very cute little hands. Thank you for kindness"

Amazing new general store! Featuring local artists and small businesses. I highly recommend you check them out! Oh they still supply bait, tackle and all things fishing!

I contacted Caitlin at Great Escape Cabins and from our first conversation to the booking, to arriving & the greeting in a snowstorm at 11:00 in the evening on a Friday nite to helping us get settled to helping us with a few things we forgot to the awesome welcoming demeanour Caitlyn and Mike are absolutely the nicest hosts you could ask for. Our 2 Bdrm unit was warm & cosy equipped with all the necessities one would need to make it a home away from home! We had a blast riding the local trails. Mike even took us out to the C trail to save us some time.We would definitely recommend staying with them whether you’re fishing, sledding or whatever adventure you want to explore! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’S across the board!Thanks for such a great stay! We will be back! John

Great Escape Cabins is equivalent to heaven on earth. My husband and I just spent a week there for our honeymoon and it was everything we could have asked for. We loved the quiet, peaceful and scenic location and the cabin was equipped with the best view! And the beds… like sleeping on a cloud.Caitland and Mike are two of the sweetest most friendly people you will ever meet. It’s people like them that make you feel welcome and wanting to keep going back and that is exactly what we will be doing! They have the best fishing, hunting and ice fishing location. Our fam loves going there for fishing trips and it’s dog and family friendly.. what can make this place better?If you like scenic drives, views and great memories, Great Escape Cabins is where you need to be!

You are treated as family when you arrive. Caitland, Mike and Company strive to make your stay as carefree as possible. General store has prettymuch anything you are going to need.Truly is an Escape from the busy. Thanks again guys, see you again soon!

This was our second year stayinh here and we can't wait to come back. Mike and Caitland make you feel welcome and are always nearby should you need anything. I love that they support local and always enjoy their general store. Great place, great people and great location. My family and I 100% recommend.

This is a very wonderful place! The owners are very down to earth, friendly, and professional. They seem like the kind of people that I would want to hang out with. My wife and I were in a pickle with a bad cottage situation somewhere else, and they offered us an accommodation until tuesday, unfortunately our vacation was until Saturday, and we were able to find adequate accommodation, however I really wish we were able to stay here!They gave us a tour of the cabins, and grounds, and it was absolutely immaculate! Everything from the cabins, to the social areas, to the general store. The cleanliness, and attention to detail is second to non.I can’t stress, what great vibes we got from the owners. We are 100% planning to revisit the area again, and book here! I would recommend this place to anyone, and I haven’t even stayed here yet!

Katlyn and Mike and there family are great. This was my second time being there once for a fishing trip and second time was for my honeymoon. Let’s just say I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. The fires at night and the fishing during the day is great. If you love being out side and enjoying nature it’s great. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy it again. Can’t say anything bad about this place. Take the time and look into it. Won’t be disappointed!!
