Fairly recent room renovations and really comfortable bed and pillows are really the only reason you would stay here. And although those things are great, it does not take away the fact that this is a very old building. As such, to be frank, it smells. Just old building smell. Kinda musty, but tolerable. Overall, for what you pay, it's not that bad. I would stay here again, but I'm not too bothered by the down sides.

Very clean, pet friendly and comfy beds. Nothing fancy, but definitely a good option especially for the price point. Staff were all nice and accommodating. Will probably stay again when I'm in leader.

Very friendly, excellent food and lounge is comfortable. Room was okay, bed comfy and little dated , bathroom worked well, shower head a little low for my 6'3 frame.Only turnoffs I had was the smell of stale smoke and the volume of the partying in the lounge below me. But the price for the room is great and great hotel downtown of a town of 1000 people."

Traveling through Saskatchewan, we knew we would be ending our day around Leader.A quick internet search revealed only a couple of hotels / motels in Leader that are currently open.This one looked interesting because it appeared to have several businesses inside the hotel. A bakery (with very generous hours), a liquor store, a bar, and the hotel itself.this is definitely a small town" type of place (and I don't mean that in any kind of negative way... I mean it completely added to our experience!)We found the hotel was easy to find

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and quiet, with complementary breakfast offered. Warmly welcomed my big dog with open arms! Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The people are wonderful. I was very impressed by the hospitality and the relaxed environment. A big thank you to Bonnie! You are a gem. Also a big thank you to Fran for the hot cooked breakfast! You two made us feel at home.

Very friendly staff (owner/operator) keen to show off their district. Service & food was brilliant. The Leader Inn is not fancy, but what you would expect from a friendly country town. We were travelling accross Canada and stayed here by chance. the friendly owners made it a high-light of our holiday!

Room was very small.. The lamp in my room was broken and could not plug it in.. Very Dangerous.. Went to order food from the menu in my room and was told the kitchen had been closed for 4 years. I got 1 free doughnut every morning.. Thx.. Not a good hotel to stay in honestly.. I wish I would have gone to one of the other hotels in leader. . why have a menu for food if the kitchen is closed.. I had to find a store to buy my food at... 70's vintage is how I would describe this place..

Always welcoming. We can almost always find something to eat even when we show up late. Complimentary hot breakfast is excellent. The building is old but taken care of. I've never had a bad experience be and have stayed many times.
