TLDR: Great staff, fast service. Decent atmosphere. Bad food in terms of taste, price, and portion. (See detailed review below)Came for dinner and got Tonkatsu Ramen, one spicy and one original. The upside was they gave more meat than most other places you get Ramen at, however, that was about the only upside. The noodles were soft & chewy, the broth had no flavour whatsoever and, the egg was disgustingly salty. It was also quite expensive compared to other Ramen restaurants at $17.50 a bowl, with a smaller portion as well.The restaurant vibe is decent but, it is extremely small. You’re basically bumping shoulders with your neighbours and, if you want to go to the bathroom you’re going to have to interrupt the people who are eating at the bar’s meals.The staff & service was super friendly and welcoming and, the food came out very quick! That was a nice breath of fresh air.

One of my long-time friends, my husband, and I decided to try out this new restaurant. We ordered the vegetable tempura and chicken yakitori to start. My friend ordered the TonKotsu Ramen. My husband ordered the Karaage Sandwich (fried chicken sandwich) with a side of fries, and I ordered the Vegetarian Ramen. First, the tampura was saugy. Second, the Ramen noodles were like terrible spaghetti noodles. Third, the broth in both the TonKotsu and Vegetarian Ramens were extremely watered down. The dishes were quite flavorless, and did not reflect traditional Ramen. This was an extremely disappointing dinner. So long as they keep serving watered down soup, I don't think this restaurant will be around very long. I understand this restaurant is new, and I hope they improve by adjusting their dishes to incorporate traditional Ramen noodles and flavours.

We were immediately welcomed by the staff who were excited to be making their first Caesar Fest Caeser. It was amazing to say the least. We'll be back for a food visit soon!

Great food, great service! Appetizers were delicious - we had pork belly lettuce wraps, karaage, and yakitori. The ramen bowls were excellent - generous portion, served piping hot, all around very good. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend the food and cocktails here. This is likely the most innovative Japanese restaurant in the city with their main dishes and cocktails. I had the Yuzu sour mixed drink and besides being super tasty it was presented beautifully. Service was outstanding and I hope they soon get the attention they deserve.

I have eaten at Naka and to be expected, the service, atmosphere and food were excellent. Just recently though I ordered take out to my work and let me tell you, every coworker of mine smelt the lunch room and asked where and when they could get the food (which was 10/10 as expected), even asking me on my next shift how it was. Susan out here doing it again, putting together the best team and giving Peterborough the best food.

I went to NAKA for the first time last night and was blown away. The food was incredible and the cocktail I had in the cute little cat mug was so tasty. Our server was lovely as well. Can't wait to go back

What a great spot. Caesar fest brought us here. We loved the menu. AndWe will be back again soon. . The food on the Caesar. BTW. Was top shelf. this contest is over. Go there now. It will impress you.
