Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology Associates

Aug 2021: I was referred here by my kid's orthodontist. COVID screening on the website must be completed, social distancing and mask protocols in place. Wait time was only 5 min, and we were done and out the door in 20 min total. I was given a time frame of when results would be available to my orthodontist, and also some details on how to submit a claim to insurance. Receptionist and staff were professional and friendly; good experience overall.

My daughter went to get an x-ray recently and I accompanied her. The staff was professional, warm and just lovely. They were very welcoming.

Terrible management skills. I called them October 11 hoping to book an appointment sometime in the next 2 weeks. They told me they were all booked up and the earliest day they could fit me in was November 26, only for them to call me on November 5 saying I did not show up for my appointment! I called them and told them I was scheduled for November 26 but I was asked to reschedule since one of their doctors wouldn't be in. I rescheduled with them for early December and took a day off to make the appointment only for them to say I had no appointment scheduled in their system at all!! I don't understand how difficult it could be for a professional office to make and manage appointments, but if this the level of professionalism they offer, I would not trust them with my teeth! There are many friendlier offices in the GTA that charge much less for the same services!

Be careful. If you want to make an insurance claim, ask for a quote first. Unfortunately I did not do that and they charged me a much higher cost than is prescribed in the Ontario Dental Association Guidelines. Obviously, the insurance company did not want to cover the whole cost of the procedure, only the part mentioned in the Guidelines. When I called Dr. Martin's assistant, she told me that's their rates and they wouldn't give a discount based on Guidelines, as they don't follow them (i.e. the Guidelines).

Wasn't given any indication that it was a private clinic until I was asked to pay after the test had already been done. The receptionists are pretty rude and don't explain anything...just want to collect the payment and move on to the next person.

Terrible processing of claim. My benefits provider rejected the claim that the clinic submitted on the grounds that the official referral from the dentist was not included.I had to do much running around in order to obtain this referral myself & resubmit the claim in order for it to be reimbursed.

The receptionists and staff were very polite and welcoming. There was very little wait time. Overall things went smoothly and quickly.

Great experience, non-invasive. Medical and reception staff were professional, thorough, and efficient. In and out in 25 minutes. Thanks!

Good experience overall. The staff was patient enough with my kids and the appointments were not running too late. The downsides were that it was expensive and you must pay out of pocket (as they do not do direct billing to insurance companies) and the parkinglot behind the house is very small - very challenging to get out of it.
