Dandelion Allergy Centre

I have to say that I’m very shocked at how well rated this clinic is. While my initial visit was quite pleasant, that was nearly 10 weeks ago.I had my initial consolation for the shots in October 2022. I was told I would need a breathing test which was set for February, after this test and BEFORE pollen season started I was meant to begin my shots. I paid the $250 for my shots on March 01, and was told 4-6 weeks for the pharmacy to have things ready. It’s now May 09 and I’m having to chase this “high volume clinic” weekly to find out the status of the order, and I keep being told the pharmacy is delayed, it’s the pharmacy’s fault, etc - which is fine - but I’m a client of Dandelion Allergy and it would be great if the reception at Dandelion Allergy would follow-up with me and let me know of their own accord that things are still delayed.Because of how much volume this office does, responses are often delayed, they don’t pick up the phone and instead email, or they just say it’s out of their hands. What good are allergy shots if you’re taking them in the middle of allergy season? It’s frustrating to have to continue to wait without any follow-up.The last time I reached out I was told my shots would be ready by the end of the week - last week. I’m now in my 11th week of waiting.. if you’re keen to wait this long then by all means give Dandelion Allergy a go. But if you’re not, then go somewhere else - the waiting isn’t worth it.

The location was a bit hard to find because they do not have any signs on the building directory. The nurse was amazing with my 2.5 year old. So much that he wanted to hug her before he left even after she pricked him and made him itchy for his allergy testing. Obviously, due to Covid that did not happen. However it says a lot about how they treat their patients. Dr. Kobaya was great. Very welcoming and took her time to answer all of our questions and concerns. Also, made us feel comfortable to know that we can always call and come back if any other problems or concerns arise.

Guys i came to your clinic and you treated me very politely your staff was nice and they were good listener. The Dr was paying attention to my allergy problem, the Dr gave me good medicine that i feel much better...

We had an allergy test done for our son. We found Dr. Hazar Khobaya to be very knowlegable and sharp. The nurses were great as well. Highly recommend this clinic.

This is my second time back to this clinic for a follow up on my son’s seafood allergy. It was the first time for my daughter to get an allergy test. Both my 5 yr old and 4 year old were made comfortable throughout the whole process by Rima. Dr. Kobayaa was also amazing with the way she explained everything to my son and me. We are hopeful that with further testing my so. Can be introduced to some fish in the near future. Thank you Dandelion team!

Dr. Mariana De Melo is amazing! She took extra care and patience to hear all my concerns and answered all my questions. She explained everything throughly and made me feel more comfortable managing my daughter’s allergy. Thank you!

Worst clinc ever!!!! They book you appointments with out confirming date with you. Communication with the staff is horrible. Would not recommend this place.

Today I did the allergy test and it was a very good experience from the day I booked the appointment with the receptionest until I did the test. The receptionest, nurs and the Doctor were all very friendly and proficianl.

Thank you to the team at Dandelion Allergy Centre for the ongoing care, support and diligence in the management of my infant son’s allergies.Be it the timely referrals, your efforts to accommodate appointments or the staff in generals kindness, I have been nothing but impressed with the experiences i’ve had interacting with your facility, both over the phone and in person (2 appointments including a baked milk challenge).Specifically, Dr. Falcone continues to provide primary allergen care for my son and has been wonderful. She is incredibly flexible, knowledgeable and very kind in everything she has done and I could not be anymore appreciative and grateful that my son’s care is in her very capable hands.Thank you to such a wonderful team!
