CIBC Branch with ATM
Getting a line of credit here was ridiculous. The person i dealt with was incredibly lazy and ignored all my emails and vm's. I had to call and speak to tellers to find out the status. Once it finally went through i was told 24 hrs for it to active....going on 4 days now with an inactive card and no reply. Don't deal with this branch.

My experience at this location has been positive. Usually, I don't particularly appreciate banking in person, but I found myself requiring assistance, and I got directed to Cole McIsaac. I had some questions, and Cole was knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure that my experience was positive. He is incredibly patient and always will take the time to answer any questions and provide clients with further clarification. Cole always took the time to provide me with information that felt more accessible. I also appreciated how he was incredibly accommodating to my schedule. I'm a single parent and had to reschedule many appointments because my son kept getting sick. Cole was always empathetic towards my circumstances and was always willing to accommodate my situation.I highly recommend Cole McIsaac if you need a very patient, friendly financial advisor who will go above and beyond to assist you.

The Bank put a hold on my account due to me being scammed by someone. I explained the situation numerous times to online banking people who said they lifted the hold. I try to pay 4.60 for an inhaler next day and account still froze. I drove to Gardeners CIBC Bank immediately and they supposedly lifted hold. Next day I can't get out of the Hospital parking lot cause I couldn't use my debit card to pay for a 3.09 parking!!!! I finally got out because a stranger paid my ticket, called online banking and found out the hold was put back on my account on the 15th even though I was just at the bank on the ,14!!!! Now I've called the bank at least 20 times and keep getting a recording!!!! What ever happened to Customer Service and talking to a real GD person!!! Now I have to drive across town again, for them to do their GD jo, again!!!!

Went to the bank to have my name attached to my husband's US account...simple right? Not so much. The teller was unable to do it and we had to make an appointment to come back. Went back to the bank again today for our 12 noon appointment. Spoke to a teller again and we were told the person we were supposed to meet at 12 noon was busy. Why make us a book an appointment if the person is not going to be available? Obviously our time is not important to the bank. What a waste. We have decided to pull up stakes and move to another bank. No wonder bricks and mortar banks are going the way of the dodo, terrible customer service.

It is impossible to speak with a Customer Service person by phone. I tried every prompt and got voicemail at each one. I now have to go to the branch to ask one simple important question. Not happy

I opened a bank account because they told me I was approved for a credit card that I never received. (It's been 3 months). I called and emailed the sales representative and he never replied.It's not worth having a bank account with this bank. On top of that they charge you for everything

If I could give this poor excuse for a bank a negative number, I would. My daughter who is a college student only has her drivers licence for ID. She needed a new debit card because the chip stopped working..again. They won’t give her one because she doesn’t have two forms of ID. She left rather upset as she’s going out of town this weekend and needs access to her money. Finally after telling her to go back in, they take her credit card and DL as ID. Why not the first time? Who knows? Finally gets a new card and she asks if it needs to be activated. She was told no even though she’s sure she remembered doing it the last time. She went to debit a small purchase at a coffee shop. What do you know, “card not activated “. She’s going on an hour and half just to replace this card!!! Every time she goes there, there’s an issue.This is the most useless bank. My actual rating -10. This branch would be the Gardiners Rd/Taylor Kidd one.Update: My daughter went to Toronto for the weekend with her friends with her new debit card in tow. She was told by CIBC employee card was ready to go. She goes to Pay for the hotel room and her card won’t work. A friend of hers ended up being able to pay and she called the number on the back of her card for assistance. Turned out the useless branch employee shredded her old debit card yet ACTIVATED it, and DEACTIVATED her new card that took her hours to get in the first place. I wish she’d have gotten the name of this person because they need to be fired.The helpful man on the phone with her was able to activate the card she had and was told how to make sure it worked by going to a nearby ATM. He stayed on the phone with her while she did this and all is now good, except the useless branch employee is still unfortunately employed, and will likely do this to someone else because she is incompetent.

High time to shutdown this type of Banks.They put me hold on 2 hours to report about Fraud activity.Oh my GodThe fraudsters are even better than this type of Bank Scammers.
