My business has been using The Hackery, off and on for the last 10 years. I can always count on them to have a part that is needed right away, when I can't wait for Amazon. They also have the occasional rare and hard to find component to keep older systems running, because sometimes a client would rather fix than upgrade.I want to update this review to mention that the business is under new ownership, and that the level of service, professionalism, care and attention has improved significantly.

Really great customer service. They helped me order the part required and then installed it for me. Saved me a lot of money compared to going to other repair services. They also disposed of the old battery for me. Location was easy to get to by transit and staff were super friendly. Highly recommend checking this place out if you need laptop help.

the guys here are extremely professional and helpful- the diagnosis is free and their pricing is so reasonable! saved me a ridiculous amount of money and managed to improve my ancient macbook. highly recommend.

Top notch service!After having my time wasted for months by another computer repair shop, I took my Dell laptop into The Hackery to get the keyboard and palm rest replaced. They quickly and professionally did the job and I'm now typing this review on my now repaired and fully-functioning laptop. A thoroughly professional shop. I will be back if I require future computer repair and serving.

Great folks who know tech. Seems to have some specialized people with macs but they fixed up my pc good. Don’t let the facade of this place fool u, it’s very professional and run by people who know tech and like it!

The Hackery is a very excellent computer shop. I've stopped by as a customer for many years since they first opened up. They do their best to fix some surprisingly old computers, and occasionally even other electronics as well. They have repaired computers which other shops declared totally broken, and at almost always have the odd expansion cards or cables I need on hand. Staff are always pleasant and welcoming, prices are more than agreeable. The new owner seems to be doing a great job of keeping the spirit of the company alive.

Excellent service. Prices and quotes are always provided ahead of time. My laptop was fixed over a holiday long weekend, well appreciated. Was welcomingly surprised there was no retainer or upfront charges to fix my laptop. Some other repair companies require a minimum $200 upfront fee, The Hackery is very fair with prices and service
