Modo Yoga Aurora

Aurora Modo, has provided me with such a life changing experience! The staff are very kind and helpful through out the classes. I absolutely enjoy the hot yoga offered by their facility. It is well catered to all levels! Perfect place for a great mental cleanse!

Love this studio! Great people, great vibe and great variety of classes for all levels. What sets this studio apart from the other Modo studio in my area is they make me feel like they want me to come back and value my business. Their emails are super informative and provide information you might otherwise miss if the person at the front is busy.

My first time trying yoga and especially hot yoga! The instructors were excellent and took the time to welcome me and make me feel very comfortable! I felt very zen after my first class and definitely will be back! The studio was spacious and clean, really good vibes! Don’t normally post google reviews but this place truly deserves it.

Modo aurora has such a wonderful staff. Both teachers and front desk. I’m new to the area and had a wonderful home studio in my hometown where I started and fell in love with yoga so I was hesitant to try other places. I’m so glad my roommate recommended Modo Aurora. There is such a variety of classes to try and a great schedule which accommodates many peoples busy schedules. Thank you Modo Aurora for feeling like a home away from home!

Loved both Barre and Hot Yoga! I did hot yoga years ago and I didn’t have the best first experience. Let’s just say I hadn’t done another hot yoga class since then. Fast forward 10 years I was determined to try another hot yoga class at Modo. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly as soon as you walk in the door. The teacher was amazing and she made me feel so comfortable. I will be back again!

I have been to this studio multiple times and have nothing bad to say. I love that they offer a range of different practices so you have the opportunity to try new things and push yourself. Instructors, facilities, and classes are all top notch. I would definitely recommend this to any beginners or anyone looking for a great studio to practice!

I've been to many yoga studios over the years. My big pet peeve about this studio is too many instructors keep the room incredibly dark during the class. I understand having the room dark during savasana and dimmed during floor series, but I don't believe it serves a purpose during standing series. I'm sure other students find it relaxing but considering the lights have a dim function, I think there's a better compromise of low lighting versus almost no lighting at all. Especially since teachers cannot do hands-on adjustments right now due to the pandemic, they should be staying extra observant of student postures to give verbal adjustments, which is probably more difficult in almost near darkness.I will also note that not all instructors at this studio keep their classes so dark. And I would even argue that the better instructors keep the room pretty well lit for standing series.

I have a monthly membership here and I come throughout the week. It’s a great space where I feel comfortable and enjoy practicing hot yoga!!

After the studio I had practiced at for almost10 years closed I was at a loss for a studio that suited my needs. I had tried 3 other studios but they didn't cut it for me. I tried Modo, Aurora as I wanted some unheated classes and am happy to say along with those they have some wonderful yin/restorative classes as well as all their hot classes. A wide variety of times make it easy to attend many classes each day. Large studio rooms as well as clean change rooms give a yogi just what is needed for an enjoyable practice. Welcoming staff and Instructors complete the good experience.
