Dr. Margel

Dr. Margel was recommended by a friend last year. After waiting a while for surgery to remove fibroid and polyps, I learned that my doctor has moved her practice to Toronto. Ughh!!Anyhow, it was refreshing to have immediate action from Dr. Margel. He scheduled an assessment and biopsy. Things were backlogged for a number of months, but I just had surgery on Jan 5 2023, and it was a positive experience. I'm 12 days post-op, and I'm feeling good. My incisions are pretty much healed, and I'm looking forward to having less pain going forward. Thank you!!

Single handedly the worst thing to happen to me health wise. For years. Switched to female gyno and she literally saved me.

Horrible experience. Does NOT take your medical issues seriously. Slow to act and a waste of time for anything other than pregnant women.

Dr. Margel is very professional, dedicated and punctual. He did my 3rd and 4th C sections. I never waited more than a few minutes for any of the appointments. All of his staff are wonderful. I strongly recommend him.

Absolutely hand down the best Dr I have ever come across. Very caring, very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile. A Dr that calls a patient on a Friday night to check in on them is unheard of! You would be so lucky to have him over see your care.

Went to see him and found him to be very kind and efficient.Was worried because of bad reviews I read but never had any problems .He makes you feel comfortable in sometimes uncomfortable situations.Would recommend him.

Nicest doctor I've ever had. Actually listens.

I would not recommend him to anyone. He is very unprofessional. He would not listen and take my concerns seriously. I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and was referred to him by the hospital. After seeing him and he wanted another ultrasound done I went back to see him and told him that I am still unbearable pain. He told me that I shouldn't have pain with the type of cyst I had. I broke down in tears as he just dismissed my concern and he then asked me rudely where it hurt. When I told him that my whole abdomen hurt he blatantly said that I should be seeing a sychologist. Found another Doctor who took the time and properly diagnosed me with endometriosis and also is checking out other possible causes of pain like my kidneys and bladder. I hope that with his lack of care has not done irreparable damage that will affect the quality of my health for the rest of my life.

He works well with the nursing team in the surgery unit of RVH as is obvious by the viewed interactions between same. He is respectful of your time and strives to be punctual (depending on the needs of other patients). A good, solid professional and we recommend highly with no reservation whatsoever. Our thanks and kudos also to his excellent assistant, Kari, for her thoughtfulness in arranging our follow-up appointments on a yearly basis. We are appreciative of the team and their dedication.
