Just had a very bad experience in Michaels. We came to purchase the set for our daughter and it was on sale on the website... When we can win, we saw 30% off in the aisle as per picture but when we came to check in... Jen told us it's not on sale. When I showed her the website pic and picute of their own aisle, she made a face, tried to push it back and left us with a very bad taste about our shopping experience with Michaels today. Shame

I frequent this Michaels very often -it’s my go-to store as a Cosplayer when I need sculpting supplies, painting supplies, resin, and anything else that strikes my fancy.Until now I haven’t written a review but what’s pushing me to do so is the customer service I received from one of the girls in the framing area -I’m very sorry I didn’t catch the young woman’s name.I went in the last week in April 2023, looking for a Shadow Box to display a prop I made and was entering into the CalgaryEXPO replica contest… I’ve never used a shadow box before and had no idea how to mount my project or what was inside a shadow box or anything. She took the time to help me, answered all my questions, and helped me come up with a plan to do what I wanted to do. She was absolutely wonderful.I’ll attach my photos here of my entry display just because I’m so proud of how pretty it came out looking! I believe her help was paramount to my entry looking so sharp!Thankyou!!!

Good selection of crafty goods. However every time I come here, the checkout line is insanely long. They could use a few more people at check out. I've also used the framing department for custom framing. Decent selection, fairly average pricing. Wait for a coupon.

This is my favourite location in Calgary. I have pics of my Halloween trip last October. My favourite time of year. I had two very lovely staff members help me. We chatted for a bit about the different products available and how some of us wait all year for the Halloween stuff to come out for our favourite home decor lol! I have nothing bad to say about this location. If you’ve ever had a bad experience, maybe your own energy bounced off of the people helping you. Everyone I’ve always dealt with was super friendly and helpful.

There are plenty of art supplies to choose from. Remember to bring coupons if you have any, as this store can be somewhat expensive sometimes. Cashiers were friendly.

Always love Michaels, and they have a great selection! They have the fun 10$ mystery boxes which are such a good deal!

Messy!I know the fabric section isn’t that big of a deal to most customers but when I visit I look forward to it.Also, with the buying power the biggest supplier of craft goods has you’d think they could have better prices on fabric?

Such a fantastic selection. I love the regular online coupon of 30% off an item, it makes buying big item craft purchases more reasonable

Always love Michaels. Do I know where most things are? Maybe. You'll definitely find better quality here than say the dollarstore. Dont get me wrong. Some things can be bought at the dollar store. But others just have to be Michael's. Won't be beat. They got me hooked.

They are full of merchandise but no one to guide you where things are and nothing where it supposed to be. There was only one person in the check out, so it took us over 10 minutes before being able to pay for what we bought.
