This bakery is small but full of great food! The Portuguese tarts (pastel de Belém) are amazing! They have tons of desserts options.Only cons is that they should improve their cleaning and keep the place more organized, other suggestion is to have a table or a small patio outside so we can enjoy their goods.

We came into town for a wedding from Texas. The easy thing would have been to go to Tim Horton's and get mass produced, soulless donuts. We opted to try this mom and pop shop and are so glad we did!There's a great variety of great donuts and baked goodies. Everyone was super friendly and nice. Everything we brought back to the house solicited a Wow!""

Aveiro Bakery may be small, but it delivers big on flavor. Their almond croissants are the talk of the town, and the tarts are equally delightful. While the cake selection is limited, I can't wait to give them a try. A must-visit for bakery enthusiasts!

This Portuguese bakery offers many delicious baked goods; a good variety of bread loaves, toast breads, baguette, tea biscuits, bagels, strudel, donuts, turnovers, cannolis, Portuguese tart (Pasteis De Nata), cheesecake, cake, etc.Inside the store smells really nice! especially in the mornings. Donuts are very delicious, dough is soft, moist and chewy, the fillings and toppings are perfectly balanced.I really loved the cannolis, too. It would definitely be my go to for baked goods.

First time to great, family-style bakery discovered from friends feedback. Was shocked at size and quality of baked goods available. Ordered a custom cake for an upcoming family event.Large, vanilla cake with lemon filling and decorated with beautiful writing, fresh whipped cream, and white chocolate shavings was perfect! Very refreshing and loved by everyone, several who had more than one serving! No leftovers!!

Don’t judge the bakery with the size of the shop but with their taste and dedication. They have many options to choose. I tried their Portuguese bread and a cup cake, and both were delicious - bread was fresh & soft, and cake was not very sweet, which I was looking for. Staff was very helpful and knows the ingredients and also how the items were prepared. I recommend them to add multi level slicer for their breads to be cut as current slicer size is thin. But, nice hidden gem within the community.

Very sorry to report that we have seen a steady decline of the quality of Portuguese style desserts at Aveiro. Other than the natas, none of the other Portuguese style pastries ever fresh anymore and recently they’ve increased prices, making it even harder to justify. I don’t mind paying for quality but I’m not paying for overpriced donuts and stale tarts. No complaints about the breads; they’re still fresh.

My dad went there this morning form some bread with his dog. He was approached by a lady who asked him if he needed anything, and he told her he was fine. He picked up what he needed and when at the cashier, the person was very disrespectful, she grabbed the stuff he wanted to buy and asked him to live as dogs were not allowed in the store. How can my dad know that when the first lady did not mention anything ?! Awful customer service !
