I wake up everyday feeling that i am in a real life video game. Yes, you read that right! Prior to my PRK surgery, I had terrible vision (and even worse had awful Astigmatism). In addition, I practiced law and spent 10-12 hours a day in-front of a computer having to look at the screen all day as such, my quality of life was being impacted because I could only wear monthly contacts and glasses!I found the entire experience at The Bochner Eye Institute exceptional - from booking my appointment with the support staff, meeting with the technician and undergoing my surgery. All my questions were answer by the very experienced technician (Delray M.). My surgery was about 20/30 minutes long. Following the surgery Dr Gilani, Delray, Ghani and the other support staff at the Bochner Eye Institute put all my worries at ease by providing me with all the products and instructions that i would need for post-surgery. They even went as far as providing me all the Doctor's phone numbers incase i had questions or concerns following my surgery. (I did not need to call them but in my opinion that is exceptional service).I would highly recommend this Institute. Thank you Dr. Gilani for providing me with perfect vision (like a video game) that i appreciate on a daily basis!

I went to the Bochner Eye Institute for LASIK, and Dr. Fatimah Gilani was my surgeon: she was absolutely fantastic!While everyone I engaged with at Bochner was lovely, kind and helpful, Dr. Fatimah Gilani herself was patient, reassuring, and very informative, helping me make an informed decision and ensure the surgery was right for me; she gave me ample opportunity and time for questions and clarity. More so, the surgery was smooth, the results astounding, and the recovery itchy but bearable :)Although the surgery itself was uncomfortable (but not painful), Dr. Fatimah Gilani did a great job talking me through it, keeping me calm, informed, and reassured; she performed the surgery with such diligence and expertise that it was an impressively quick process.While I am still early in my recovery (I will update this review if I experience any complications), I am absolutely thrilled with how easy, painless, and smooth the surgery was, how immediate the results were, and how the worst part of the recovery so far is itchiness (but even still it's bearable).I would absolutely recommend Bochner and Dr. Fatimah Gilani, to friends and family looking to improve their vision :)

Dr. Gilani at Bochner Eye Institute performed my laser cataract surgery and the results were absolutely remarkable. I could not be happier with my overall experience with Dr. Gilani. My vision has exceeded 20-20 and my quality of life has improved significantly.I chose to get the surgery as we were expecting our new child and no longer wanted the hassle of contact lenses and glasses. Dr Fatimah Gilani performed cataract surgery on my both eyes. I can now see without my eye glasses. She is an amazing doctor. I will recommend her to my family and friends!

Had Lasik procedure performed recently. Very professional, efficient and personable all around with both Doctor Gilani and all her colleagues that I encountered. Super happy with the results to-date. Operation and recovery have been painless. Recovery from fairly minor issues that were expected has been rapid and the results have been great so far. They also seem to have adapted to Covid precautions very smoothly.

I had cataract surgery for both eyes earlier this month at Bochner with Dr. Gilani. Dr. Gilani’s credentials are impressive, and I was happy that my cataract surgery and care would be looked after by an ophthalmologist who is also a highly trained retina specialist. She answered all my questions very well, provided sound advice, and was always pleasant to deal with. I am amazed at my outstanding eye sight now after cataract surgery. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Gilani to friends and family.

Dr. Gilani performed Cataract surgery on my left eye. I was very nervous before the procedure, especially since I was awake.The surgery was quick, painless and my vision is 20/20 in that eye now! I have better eyesight than before my cataract.Dr. Gilani was easy to talk to and made me feel at ease.
