We came on a Sunday morning, they're very busy but you know that's always a good sign. We didn't have to wait to long to be seated as there wasn't any available tables when we got there. Our waitress was very friendly and courteous and it just plain felt like you were talking to a family member. I ordered one of the specials, back bacon with 2 eggs, toast and home fries. My dad ordered a clubhouse sandwich with fries and gravy. Both were absolutely phenomenal and really hit the spot. If you're looking for a good ma & pa home cooked breakfast then look no further than Niva's!! You don't be disappointed I can assure you of this. If you are you then have no taste buds in my humble opinion.

First time to Niva's....surprisingly a bustling place on a Sunday morning. Staff was friendly and efficient. We were seated promptly and set up with a round of coffees. The breakfast menu offered the typical breakfast offerings with Finn pancakes. Coffee was constantly topped up which is a feature verybimportant to myself. I'll be going back

I beg to differ regarding the gravy. I rarely eat restaurant gravy as most is made from a powdered gravy base. Niva’s is actually made from the protein’s drippings. I’m not a big eater so when I go there I eat all the fries with their wonderful gravy and get the hot turkey to go. I then have another two meals. One as half a hot turkey and the other as a sandwich with the gravy drenched bread (( stuffing ) and cranberry sauce…mmmm. In all fairness to the negative reviewer I have yet to try the hot beef…or anything else as I can’t get beyond my love of the turkey…and you can request white or dark meat…unusual for most restaurants.

Lovely local breakfast diner. The staff is wonderful and friendly. I wasn't too sure about having their desserts and said I would skip them because of my peanut allergy so our server went the extra mile and had their kitchen staff come talk to me and reassured me that their desserts would be ok for me and that they don't use peanuts/peanut butter in the kitchen.

Lovely staff with prompt service. It was my first time eating Finnish pancakes and they were excellent! The strawberries and whipped cream were a lovely addition as well.

Delicious lunch and excellent service from their top-notch hostess and waitress. Wish I would have got their names. I was excited to try some FINNISH PANCAKES (kind of like crepes) and they didn’t disappoint.My wife got a burger, fry, and pie and was happy with her choice also.Wish I could go back and try the putin!

This little diner is clearly a local fave, which is great. We went for the Finnish pancakes, which were delicious. It's a little pricey for the overall atmosphere and quality. Could do with new carpet and some other updates. Family friendly.

Great busy spot for breakfast. Quick service, hot and fresh food. Definitely a mom and pop feel, love it!! Everything tasted as it was freshly made for my plate which surprising because it arrived at my table so quickly. I would definitely reccomend this spot to all.

Always great service. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Great breakfasts always. The pancakes are obviously a big draw but their French toast is a hidden treasure. Niva’s is too expensive to visit more than sparingly, however. Shockingly expensive.
