Cosy place for a pit stop. Just right if you're looking for a comfortable place on a budget with clean rooms and just the necessary to spend a night or two in the area. The beds are decent, could be a bit more comfortable, but they're very clean with fresh sheets. The heater water takes about 2 and a half years to get to your faucet/shower but it's there eventually and lasts for as long as you need it. The restaurant/bar attached to this place is very nice with above average food quality and excellent service.

Unfortunately not a great experience:Room was adequate but wifi didn’t reach us and the TV only had one channel. I called reception to fix it and they said ten minutes - waited an hour,Eventually at 9pm I went to reception and the offered us a different room.The restaurant was nice but they were misrepresenting menu items and we did not get what the menu said we were getting.For the cost, poor service and amenities.

A town built upon the area where the first skirmish of the Goblin war winter campaign, December 1066. Now I'm not saying that it was a significant battle however it would be nice to see the town embrace the history it lives upon. I mean this is where the Alliance's forces landed and began their push inland, constantly forcing the Goblins back till they arrived at Grip Lake. Overall not a great experience, sorry.

We stayed in room 175 or maybe it was 25, regardless it was the old part of the motel. It had a moldy, urine type smell. No air conditioning. They had an electric floor fan we had to turn on. Floor had uneven bumps and lumps all over under the carpet. Bathroom sink was dirty and stained like it hadn't been replaced since the hotel was built 50+ years ago. Front desk person was very nice. Bed linens very clean. I would suggest this room no longer be used until a proper renovation takes place or it will hurt your overall ratings.

Overall it’s a nice pleasant place and also close to river view which has great view spot . They don’t have microwave with in the room . It’s like we need to go to receptionist if you wanna heat up your personalized food .Also there’s a bar with in the hotel and it’s good the food was amazing.

Giving a four star rating for customer service and excellent food in dining room!Customer service was excellent. My grandson forgot an item in the room. I called and the item was quickly shipped via bus and we received it when we got home! Thank you for that!The room was clean, but small. Renovated but also small bathroom. No air conditioning!The dinning room food was excellent though!!

Friendly person at the reception desk. The location is great, no issues getting around, and we enjoyed the view in the back. The room was clean despite them being outdated. No air conditioner in the unrenovated rooms, but they provide an upright fan. The worst part was the hard mattress. It was as if we were sleeping on a box spring. Worst sleep of our lives! If you prefer a medium to soft mattress, do not stay in room 34.

We got a late reservation as we came from the park. Room was great, I believe they accepted pets too. Restaurant and bar was really nice to have in location. The food was nice and our son enjoyed that he got to sit in his first bar to dine. In the USA, age ordinances required him to be a year older. So that was fun. The staff were great in all aspects!

There was no free breakfast as advertised. Dinner was worse than disappointing! I ordered the surf and turf and was served a pile of cold mushy canned shrimp, a moose steak, a baked potato that was barely warm and looked like it was leftover from a week ago and the vegetables were cold and hard! The only thing worth eating were the 3 scallops. Another in our party ordered the same thing. We complained and were told that is how they serve it there. Seriously? No attempt to make any discount not even an apology. I would not order food here for my dog.UDATE to the management who responded. We did complain to the server and she said she took our complaint to you and nothing was going to be done about it. So check with your staff. The review is totally factual.

Best hotel rooms this side of Gaspé! Closer to the Forillon park although further from big banner grocery stores. Tons of parking, stones throw from public boat ramp, beach and ice-cream truck during summer. Restaurant is top notch... Only minus is for families... Not much for kids around here.
