It was a great experience from beginning to end! John was very informative both in the initial meetings and with the follow-up. He facilitated the process of dealing with Solar City and Energy NS so there were no hitches. The crew was excellent - pleasant and hard working. And the system itself is working perfectly!UPDATE After one year of operation, I am pleased to say there have been no problems and as a bonus, the system produced almost 10 %more solar energy than estimated. John has been very responsive to the few questions I did have and was able to quickly fix a glitch with the electric car charger.

Like so many others when I heard the rebates for solar were dropping in a week I reached out to Solar Ascent. My first point of contact was Matt who immediately jumped on a call with me and was out to view my house the next day. He made the entire process incredibly easy and I felt informed and confident in my decision the entire way through.We had our solar panels installed this past August (2020). To say we are pleased with the results would be a massive understatement. Upon receiving out next bill in October which would usually run close to $500 we instead saw $23... My wife and I immediately did the Dance of Joy" from "Perfect Strangers". Really appreciated the time that John and company spent going through the details (like panel efficiency, questions about hurricanes, best location to install, and of course the paper work to get the rebates). Very happy with the solar system installed by Solar Ascent. Everything was explained clearly from the start. They were very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and adjusted the project/quote based on our needs. The communication was timely and clear, and the project was completed on time. Everything was scheduled effectively for the installation and inspections. The whole team was very professional and friendly. They provided detailed invoices. Great company and installation. Wish the app was better for tracking solar. But fun to see how much money save everyday
