I took my Ford F250 pick up in to have it inspected for a safety. They said they would have to pull the wheels off to do the inspection. I assumed that this made sense to safety. Most garages quoted me around $80.00 to $100.00. When I picked it up they gave me a bill for over $800.00. They said they spent 9 hours to pull the wheels off but they would only charge me for 8 hours; big deal. None of the other garages I have been to since this happened cannot believe these charges. Do not go to Oakes unless you are extremely wealthy.
