Hike done on february 11 2023. I recommend Gillean Daffern's Kananaskis country Trail Guide 4th edition Volume 2 I don't recommend Just relying on Alltrails. Quiet hike very deserted in a little bit snowed in and windy as hell but reasonably warm still a nice hike with magnificen

Deer Ridge Trail Parking
I got lost on the Deer Ridge Trail and somehow ended up going through the camping parking lot. So I took eagle hill around to the steep hill and went up and around to the lookout. From there, make sure you stay left!!!! Don't go towards the highway!

Deer Ridge Trail Parking
We hiked the Lower Eagle Hill & Deer Ridge Loop. It is quite a nice walk especially when we reached the top, the view of the Sibbald Creek is breathtaking. The turquoise blue stream swirls and seeps through the meadow and that is incredibly beautiful. Going down, we came by Ti-Jurabi-Chubi which is a site for religious ceremony.

Parking is fine... but the road leading into the hiking trails is extremely bad. So many potholes !!!Bent my tire rim and had to have my van towed out.

Deer Ridge Trail Parking
Eagle Hill Trail about 14.5 km round trip. Moderate climbs with a good variety of different forest types.
