Genesis Winnipeg

Currently 4.5 years into a 5-year lease. We love the vehicle (aside from pretty terrible fuel-economy, and a clutch that doesn't like Manitoba winters. Our salesperson was one of the best I have dealt with, and I used to be in the automotive industry myself. However, the service is abysmal.The list of issues is just too long to put here, but most recently we had a part fail. It took over an hour to get a tow truck ordered though the connected services, by which time it was rush hour so another 45 for the tow. They had to order said part from Korea, so we then had to pay for a rental until the following Wednesday because they wouldn't have a courtesy vehicle available for weeks, and they had to get approval for a rental--which HAD to be a Hyundai (base model Elantra). After almost a month of having our car on the lot they got the part in a replaced it, but they hadn't done the safety recall which I had a service appointment booked for while they had the car. The outside of the car was given a cursory wash, but the inside was dirtier than when they got it, and the tow-hook was still attached. After all of this, when my wife showed up to pick the car up and drop off the loaner, they told her that if she didn't fill it up, she'd get charged for gas, at an unknown rate.I've been recommending Genesis to my friends and colleagues for years--though more recently with the caveat that our service experience has been poor--but at this point I cannot recommend them any more.On paper, having a full 5 year warranty with complimentary roadside and a valet service sounds amazing. They use a lot of words like 'hassle-free' and 'peace of mind' but at the end of the day you just wait longer for regular service appointments, other appointments (like tire-changes) aren't included anyway, and parts can take weeks to arrive. Some of these issues would be mitigated if it didn't take days to weeks for someone to return your text, email, or call (which went straight to voicemail).We will be shopping elsewhere for our next vehicle, which is a shame, because the brand has huge potential.

I made the move to Genesis ownership last November. After several test drives of the G70 and it's well established competitors including Audi, BMW, Lexus and Mercedes, I felt the G70 was the best match for my driving style and ownership needs. The G70 is truly an outstanding vehicle. It's a drivers car - powerful and athletic, yet comfortable and quiet. It's rear biased all-wheel-drive system is confidence inspiring and makes the drive whatever your heart desires with a quick turn of the drive mode selector!As a former Honda / Acura owner for most of my life, the G70 brought the quality and reliability of the Japanese brands and the character, performance and handling of the best German sports sedans. The Genesis pricing is outstanding -- easily several thousand dollars less as compared to similarly equipped competitors, while including at home service for 5 years.My experience with Genesis Winnipeg was absolutely wonderful! My Genesis Experience Manager (Wade) brought a G70 to my house for multiple test drives and the final document signing. The Genesis at home service is outstanding and means I'm never without a Genesis while service is being performed.Genesis is sure to shake up the industry hiring their competitors best designers and engineers. Just hope their pricing remains so good as their brand is established along side that of BMW, Audi and Mercedes.

Amazing service! No better experience than a Genesis experience.

My Wife and I purchased a new Genesis GV70 from Murray Genesis in Sept. 2022 . It was planned 12 months in advance as a big treat for the two of us . We are disappointed with the process and procedures throughout the buying process. When our brand new vehicle was delivered with multiple scratches on it, brand new we escalated our concerns to the dealership manager, Sales manger and others. To this day , Oct. 11, 2022 , our questions and concerns continue to go unanswered.As a consumer considering buying from Murray Genesis you may want to be cautious here. Perhaps you will be better aware with this post of how your phone calls, emails and attempts to connect may be ignored.With respect to all.Sales staff at Murray Reading this ?Please call me direct to correct.J.

Had a Genesis Coupe for 6 years, serviced here a few times, then switched to a 2020 G70. Nothing but great experiences with each scheduled maintenance, the service advisor is always on the ball and staff tend to go the extra mile.One note about the app scheduling complaint- the maintenance scheduling in the Genesis app is known to not work well; always communicate with the dealership directly via phone or email for best results. Heavily documented on the Genesis forums and Facebook group.

Into my second genesis. The car is great, reliable and fun to drive.The service however is sub standard, non responsive and available through Hyundai dealership that always directs to voicemail that never receives a response. A far cry from the promise of concierge! Made me reconsider my next car.
