These candles have the most delicious, natural scents that are long-lasting but not offensive (and I’m sensitive to anything scented!)… I purchased some for teacher gifts and got absolute rave reviews from the recipients. One even said he wished he could eat it, it smelled so good! The packaging is chic and modern, and I love the creative theme of region-inspired aroma blends to create unique scents that reflects a neighbourhood’s personality. The customer service was excellent, and I can’t wait to buy more.

I've bought a few candles over the years and they've been such delights. The scents are clean, pleasant and present, without being overwhelming. I recently did a custom order and Sonya was wonderful to work with. She even went out of her way to ensure a timely delivery! Highly recommend!

AMAZING customer service - all my (many) questions were responded to promptly! I love that the products are eco-friendly, hand poured, and made locally. The unique essential oil blends are relaxing and not over-powering. As I have family in the Ottawa-area and Toronto, the neighborhood candles made my gift-giving more personable and the write-ups made me nostalgic of my old stomping grounds. I cannot wait to see if there will be candle of my current neighborhood...

The BEST locally-made candles! Kokomo is my absolute favourite, I wish I could have a 1L candle of its divine smell going on in my home non-stop. The Ottawa Christmas Market + The Skateway are two other favourites - despite their seasonal names, I have them all year round :) Sonya and the team also take back their used candle jars and recycle them for new candles! So much LOVE !

Valley Candle Co doesn't only have incredible products, but they are so lovely and easy to work with as well. They custom created a scent and label solely for our business, and we have re-ordered multiple times. I love these candles! I learned of this company through a friend & have since bought myself & others candles from here. Most recently, I did a custom candle, which Sonya put together super quickly for me. She communicates very well and was willing to accommodate a quick and last minute addition to my order. Highly recommend!

The website has really good descriptions of the scents of each candle (which is difficult and essential!) and no issues with delivery. Received direct confirmation when the delivery was made which was a nice personal touch! Immediately started burning one of the candles I ordered and its smell is complex and nuanced, and the perfect strength as well. So far I’m in heaven!

Having been a previous customer of her candles, I knew to reach out to Sonya to create something memorable for our guests to take home from our wedding last year. She put together 125 perfectly scented mini candles as party favours that were more than we could have asked for. We were super happy with how they turned out, beautiful and consistent. I’ve bought many as gifts as well and they’re always a big hit. Support local, you won’t be disappointed!

I absolutely love this concept. Not only are the candles personalized by neighborhood, the quality and scents are amazing and super reasonably priced. Sonya was great to deal with. Surprised a group of 8 girlfriends and they loved reading the little blurbs about their neighborhood! Totally recommend!
