More info should have been given when arriving and checking in about how to bear proof my campsite! I was greeted with a camp warden whom almost gave me a fine of $150 then second nite we were told no radios after 10 then the third nite told we were talking to loud. Very nice lakes and beaches and landscape sites but a li'l too strict but I do appreciate what they do just too strict for provincial camping

One of our favourite Provincial Parks! This is our 3rd year in a row at Grundy. This year we paid a little extra for a waterfront site, which was ideal for canoeing. Canoe & kayak rentals, fast food, ice cream, basic supplies & groceries and gas (I believe new this year) are all available from the store across from the main entrance to the park. Lots of great hiking trails. The kids activity centre is closed due to COVID. Highly recommended if you can book a site here!

Great Campsite but too expensive. You can choose from 3+ hiking trails and see turtles, blue herons and moose if you're lucky. Lots of options for swimming. Nice facilities. Main point for me not to spend the night here was 40$ for no electricity campsite.

Great getaway park. Family fun. Three no motor lakes. Great for canoeing and hiking. Well treed and plenty of spacious sites with good privacy. This is one of our top ten places to camp and canoe.

My family and I ended up here seemingly by accident after being turned away at another park. In the end we were pleasantly surprised! Although our visit was short we ended up doing the Gut Lake trail which was well marked and has some stunning views. Then we ended up at one of the many beaches which was equally as nice. Now we are planning a proper visit back to this park sometime next year when we can take in the rest of what this park has to offer.

We stayed in 414 for over a week in July and had a great time. The park was hosting a lot of great programs and it was excellent to see a lot of families participating. 414 is a beautiful site for sunsets and for quick access to the beach but a slight warning that it is also very busy with a lot of people walking by and people very loud on the slippery rocks all day until 10 pm.We also did a weekend in August, camped at Pakeshkag Lake for one night and Gurd for another and loved the backcountry soft" experience. Thanks to all the staff and the wardens for their hard work and diligence in keeping the park family friendly. Also thanks for their assistance with the close down outside the park gate in August."

Our favourite Provincial Park. Great trails that are challenging enough to be interesting, several beaches and lakes that are relaxing to paddle. Facilities are well kept and clean and staff are always friendly.
