Ontario Disability Support Program

I don't get how ODSP funds can get a 5% increase. But people on Ontario Works don't. And also Doug Fords government has made it so hard to get accepted for ODSP. That people who need it can't get it. And people who don't need it get it without any problems.

Inconsistent information provided by every new person you speak with. Ability to flip your life on it's head in the blink of an eye. Take zero accountability for their own errors and happily pass the blame to anyone else.

Great program for people with disabilities. They will help Basic Needs, Rent and Special Diet and Diabetes Supplies much more!!!

I find the people at this office, and my own worker to be very kind and supportive. I feel like they are part of my team that helps me get through life with a disability, and they are good team members. I have been treated with wonderful warmth and kindness by my worker especially. She is a REALLY wonderful human being. If we weren't client/worker I would want us to be friends.

They are my benefactors as I have a disability. Never have I ever had a bad experience going there or talking to staff on the telephone. These people have made it almost seamlessly open making staff very approachable as hard as it is at times. Not once have I had a bad experience dealing with Ontario Disability Support Program. The people who work here are genuinely nice people. I know ODSP as a whole is underfunded and not enough but the people who work in this office do their best for the community. Very clean and even the security was really nice.

This service is generally okay. I don't agree that they should have power to control the lives of people without knowing what it's like to have to budget every dollar. I understand this is a funded service by the federal government, I think the feds should have to spend one year on the system to better understand what it's like before eligibility to get voted then things will change...

Very caring, unlike ow. ODSP understands and are very sympathetic and caring towards your situation. It may take awhile but if your denied, that's usually what happens the first few times. Do NOT stop fighting for what you NEED.

I've been with ODSP since I've been 18 and I don't believe they have mental health as an interest.They refuse to understand mental health and doesn't offer any help through therapy or travelsThey have not raised the budget even though everything else has been risen.I feel like we are next to be sent to the streetsI get paid 1,596 yet rent has over exceed even 1000
