It is unconscionable for CMHC to not renew The Smoke Shop on Granville Island.The owner is a hardworking, resilient and doing her bit to contribute to the already struggling economy.There is no good reasoning to vacate her business.It is totally disgusting and unprofessional of CMHC to get rid of any business it wishes.Do you know who helped you to exist?It is business owners like her. Wake up if you have not done so.

Avoid CMHC at all costs. Rip off, poor service, won't talk to clients (only banks), charges premiums 10x default rates, profits gets wasted, stupid programs (great work trudeau), rigid/narrow qualifying that force you to stay with current bank (which charge higher rates to current clients than new clients), discrimatory (makes it harder self-employed / commission workers / stay at home moms working part time), doesn't care about payment history only ratios, the list goes on. They aren't helping first time buyers, they are stealing your equity. Go to hell CMHC. All borrowers who don't default should get at least half premium back. Stop ripping off hard working Canadians and inflating banks' profits!
