I had a bad experience with this doctor. I called them on Apr.28 to have an apointment for my 2 years old child who had 5 ear infections since September 2021. They obligated me to do a pcr for him and if the result is negative, I can then call back and have an apointment. I had the pcr same day and received results on April 29 as negative. I called them and received a confirmation for an apointment on May 6. The doctor refused to see my baby as he is caughting and asked me again to redo another pcr. I tried to explain to him that this is innaceptable as they waisted my time ( I had to drive one hour from my home address to get to their location and also my baby has a little asthma and it is for that he has caught). Dr. wasn't willing to understand. He doesn't care about patients, the most necessary points for him is himself ( Covid)

The entire appointment lasted less than 5 minutes. Without explaining to me what he wanted to have tested and why, he wrote me a referral to have some tests done, which I only found out later would be at a private clinic and would cost me $350 out of pocket. Since it's not a standard referral (and was written on the private clinic's letterhead), I can't just bring it to a hospital, and therefore my entire appointment ended up being a waste of time. This is a perfect example of what's broken in our system.

Waste of time.Takes your Medicare card immediately.Does not allow you to enter the office, conducts Covid questions at his doorway which have already been asked and answered to his secretary twice!! Then tells you to come back after you get a negative PCR test.Note to Doctor: When making the appointment your secretary should mention that a negative PCR test is required in order to have a consultation/exam .

Our family has had the good fortune to have Dr. Rothstein as our ENT for over 20 years. He has taken care of my wife, our 3 children and my mother. He is a very caring doctor with years of experience. Thank you Dr. Rothstein for everything.

This doctor is the absolute worse. I tried to take an appointment for my son and because we weren’t wearing masks he literally slammed the door on us. I tried to explain that I forgot my mask but he didn’t want to hear it and shut the door . He then opened it while I was further away and he began yelling at me in front of the entire waiting room. I cancelled my appointment immediately as I don’t think he is well enough to care for or treat my son. If he is this frightened perhaps he should not be working in this system. Do no recommend

Very frustrating phone call with the receptionist. She was requiring a patient who has travelled recently to get a PRIVATE PCR prior to seeing the physician. When there is no symptoms! I offered her to isolate for 2 weeks before the appointment, but she refused and gave an appt 6 weeks later (when spots were available earlier).I understand that everyone wants to be cautious with COVID, but this is a non-evidence-based approach (+ against government regulation) that is hindering care. Inappropriate.I haven't met the physician, but reception's approach was rude.

Do not waste your time with this Dr. Completely irrational and makes you waste your time and has no consideration for treating kids properly and promptly. Never been so frustrated with a doctor before.

For years I’ve been followed by Dr.Rothstein, never had any issues with him, always trusted him.I chose to no longer be one of his patients because of how he disrespected me in front of a waiting room full of people. The way he spoke to me was very unprofessional/hurtful and his secretary really needs to start having more respect towards people.

I have seen him several time and the appointment lasted less than 5 minutes. I noticed everytime a patient went in he ordered a hearing/ balance tests that is exclusively performed in the private clinic in the hospital and it costs you $350. he even got very agitated when I asked why do I need it ( my hearing is perfect and I am not dizzy ) but the strange part part he ordered it for every single patient. never going there again

Very horrible. I went a long way and took a leave from my work, but the doctor didn't visit me because my daughter had a cold last month.The secretary was also rude and looked like a corona patient.I didn’t recommend at all.I didn’t see these behaviors in Montreal.
