Cumberland Cove Seaside Campground

My brother and I stayed her two summers ago, and always meant to leave a review. Always better late then never. We had such an amazing time there. Our initial night in PEI we stayed at a much fancier campsite which was fine, but I genuinely enjoyed this quaint campsite. I would choose it over and over again. The friendliness of the owners of the campground was so welcoming and they gave us so many tips and ideas on where to go and what to see. We went deep sea fishing as one of their recommendations. They have coffee in the morning and I know my brother took the opportunity to visit. I also really liked that there was no lines waiting for the showers, where as at the other campsite there was a decent line. Perfect view and seeing the tide go in and out was a crazy experience for someone who had never seen the ocean.

Beautiful setting, very serene☮️The owner/operators are absolutely wonderful! Extremely accommodating. They even ran an extension cord to our tent at no extra charge! Highly recommend & we will definitely be back

Beautiful spot right on the water! We had lots of fun walking out on the beach during low tide (roughly 2km). The water is super warm and comfortable for swimming. While we were making dinner another camper brought us roughly 25 MASSIVE clams he had dug up on the beach and taught us how to cook them. A true PEI experience! The owners are absolutely lovely and the price is very reasonable too! The only reason I give it four starts is the cleanliness of the bathrooms could be better. Another big plus is that there is some of the best tasting, ice cold water we’ve come across!

A wonderful little campground run by wonderful people on a beautiful little piece of the ocean with surprisingly great coffee first thing in the morning. What a great place. Loved it.

Absolutely loved this location. Spectacular view right on ocean. Low tide made it amazing to walk out. Owners were great and whatever you needed they came through even every morning free coffee better than Timmy's. Very clean, will definitely go back and stay a lot longer even thinking for a month ❤

Such a beautiful location right on the coastline. The nicest hosts in the world. Nineteen years of ownership and they are still positive and happy, which says a lot about them and the type of camper they attract. Clean well cared for campground. The host gave us freshly caught fish! Fresh coffee in the morning, famous the world over.

Awesome location! Awesome owners! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they only have 15 amp electric available. We were able to make that work for us. The campground is right on the Northumberland Strait & it’s very quaint & beautiful! The owners worked with us since we didn’t have Canadian money & they do not accept credit cards. We were very impressed by their hospitality. They’re only open the end of June through September so get it while you can.

Beautiful seaside campground. Located near the bridge, which is great after a long day of driving. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly.

This is one of the most friendly, amazing campgrounds we have been to. We have come every summer to PEI and wouldn't go anywhere else. This is a very laid-back campground with a huge heart! The owners treat each person as apart of their own family. Want to go calm digging or sand dollar hunting as Doug (the owner) he is always up to showing you how it is done. Need that morning wake me up? Go see Michlyn (spelling) ((the owner)) she is always there to pour you that morning fix. This campground is more of a park your camper or tent and go sightseeing.
