Woody's Motor Vehicle Repair

After taking my jetta there for some work, I must say the price of the work done was not pleasant. Not to mention I had to go back after some odd stuff happened, which was apparently no ones fault! That resulted in more money spent, and this time the price went up from the last time for the same parts! I honestly can't recommend them and that's unfortunate.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR WEBSITE!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! After “diagnosing” the reason why our check engine light was on, he said he could fix it. He said he would call to tell us what needed to be done, but no call and did the work anyways. That was 500+ dollars. When we picked it up after hours the light was still on. No one was there and no one would answer our calls so we went home with the car. Went back a few days later and he once again did work without consulting us on price. So a total of 1200$ later and the check engine light is still on. When we called and express our dissatisfaction, his response was “well save your pennies and come back”. Knowing we have a newborn and are a young couple who just gave him all our savings so I could have a save and reliable vehicle for our child. We called another mechanic and told him what happened, and he told us that for the work he did, we should not have been charged the amount we were. So our check engine light is still on and engine is shaking worse then before, we have 0$ in our savings, and have no choice but to use our vehicle and hope it doesn’t break down with our newborn in it. I am disgusted with woodys and will continue to tell everyone how horrible they are. If I had ANY money left, I would take legal action against them.

I drive a v w bug and wouldn't trust anyone else to touch it. Owner has been in the v w business over 40 yrs. Very honest and trustworthy .

A small town shop with friendly service. Professional services made us confident that we were treated fairly. Thanks for the loaner car while ours was being serviced.

Left my car with the shop for almost two months, all the while asking for a quote. I never received a quote until after the work was finished, which was way more than i could afford. Would never recommend this shop.

We were on our way to Petewawa for our son’s hockey tournament and experienced issues with our Jeep Grand Cherokee. The engine temperature gauge was on extreme hot. By chance we literally rolled in to this establishment to stop the vehicle. The staff serviced us immediately, assessed the problem, and were to make temporary repairs so we could get on the road. They charged us a very fair price and took the time to explain the problem.

Great service, my life is crazy lately, the squeezed me in when I cud make it and loaned me a car. I am so grateful!

My friend dropped his mk6 be there.. waiting for it to be ready, but the work should be worth the wait! Final review will be based on the work done to his car. Well he got his car back, and no issues, everything is tight! Cheers :)
