Stone Hall Castle

The owner Jason was great. He was extremely knowledgeable with respect to the history of the property, and all of the amazing artifacts within the estate. His passion for the property and the history behind it all shone through for the duration of the tour. I did tour in the evening and I'd highly recommend you do the same. I have a background in real estate and the estate blew me away. With every room we entered, I found myself more in awe at the craftsmanship that went into the design and construction of the building. Jason's attention to detail with everything from the art, to the furniture, to the homemade beeswax candles, took the entire experience to next level. Hands down the best tourist attraction I had in Regina, I absolutely recommend you visit Stone Hall Castle!

This tour was absolutely fantastic. Jason is a huge wealth of knowledge. Be prepared to be transported into another world. 100% worth the time and $.

The tour took approximately two hours and was quite the history lesson of both the city, the building, and his acquired collection of pieces. I was very impressed that he sources all of the antiques/museum pieces and his knowledge about the pieces. He makes his own beeswax candles that you can purchase there as well.

After a day of hiking we received such a wonderful welcome. The rooms were very beautiful with lovely antiques. The sitting room just draws you in with its warming fire and comfy furnishings. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit.

Took the tour was on the little bit of the pricey side but was really cool inside . Jason the tour guide is very knowledgeable on the history of regina and medieval history . Didnt rush the tour at all . If you have the extra funds (120 for two people) and about an hour or two to kill its something to checkout

The tour was amazing, very in depth, and a great learning experience. The ticket price was well worth it, and we got amazing photos. The art and decor really preserved the unique history and well exceeded our expectations. The castle was a great hidden treasure, and a must see on your next visit to Regina. I love my Bees wax candle, be sure to purchase yours on your visit!

We did the Castle tour as a family and were very impressed. The owner Jason has a great knowledge of the history around the Castle and Regina. Very interesting to say the least. The rooms were decorated to the times beautifully. You can see that a lot of hard work and passion went into this Castle and its upkeeping. My son (11yrs) was thrilled and definitely enjoyed himself on this tour. Its honestly like nothing we have seen before. 10/10 definitely recommend!

One of the best tours I experienced. I went with my family and it was absolutely beautiful and a surreal experience to know history. I would love to visit this place soon and would recommend to EVERYONE who is history fan or not to just visit this beautiful castle and experience the beauty. Lady Coco along with our tour guide were the best part of it.

Totally unexpected gem and unique experience. The host takes his time and gives you a lot of background for many of the artifacts, including a 500 year old canopy bed and a chest from 1492!Well worth seeing.

DO NOT STAY here for the current price and never if you’re a solo female traveler.To begin with the good, the place itself is beautiful. I enjoyed the decor which was very tastefully antique while still being comfortable. There are good amenities like oven (no microwave which was a bit sad), fully stocked fridges, washer dryer. Overall I’d say a higher-end airbnb but not at all what I expected for 700$! I was on a cross country road trip and even the Fairmont hotels were not as expensive. I should have done my due diligence but I saw it in a reputed tourist article last minute and thought I’d splurge. I expected a luxury hotel experience at that price. Instead, I was welcomed by the owner, who, once I entered, locked the door, the only exit, behind me. As a female solo traveler, I found that very disturbing. I was also informed that I couldn’t leave the premises without him opening and closing the door for me. Another very big red flag. I was freaked out so I left for a walk soon after, even though I had planned to enjoy the room itself. I researched then and couldn’t find even one review of a stay there. Not at all what I wanted when I spent 700$!To add insult to injury, when I’m at dinner outside, he calls me and starts blabbering about how he has a school tour the next morning before I check out and the room I’m staying in is on the tour and how he took my booking without checking the calendar. I offered to check out early but I’d expect him to give some refund or something for the inconvenience. He then says that no, how about I just cleanup a bit and then leave. He’s basically asking a 700$ paying customer to do housekeeping for him because he made a mistake. It was ridiculous!I stayed there on June 5 but didn’t post a review earlier because I didn’t want to write it when angry. But turns out I’m still angry but can kinda laugh at it now. Anyway, if he was charging ~200$, it’d probably be worth it but I’d just recommend to just avoid staying here.
