I found them on the internet and decided to go with them based on google reviews. Lesson 1: Never trust small rating reviews (1-100) , it may be written by family and friends, when ratings are in the thousands they are much more accurate. We had to leave and go with another lawyer because of poor follow up and slow responses. This appears to be a small Mama & Papa family owned business where things are done slowly and at there own pace. Lesson 2: always get two other quotes before choosing a lawyer. Their prices seemed to be higher than average when compared to lawyers in Waterloo (Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo) region. Also do not leave any important documents with any lawyer unless you plan on doing business with them. If you leave it, they assume they are representing you and start the billing process. Lesson 3: Be careful with the amount of things you have to ask because prices are tagged on to every question, phone call, paper, paperclip, email, text message etc… Lesson 4: Always ask what their hourly rate is, otherwise you may be in for a big surprise when you get the bill. Lesson 5: If dealing with your realtor, ask them to suggest a lawyer for you, they may partner with a lawyer and because they sold your property their lawyer may provide you with a better hourly rate. Very professional conduct by all staff I've had the pleasure of working with in our real estate sale and purchase transactions. They were patient and took the time to explain everything in detail and were very helpful in guiding us when we ran into issues such as a water leak in our new home. I would definitely recommend and will be back for any future transactions!

I just had the most amazing experience and had to share. I do not write reviews often but this was well deserved. The woman I spoke to was Samantha. Though she knew within the first 30 seconds of our call my situation was a bit more complicated than what they could provide at this law firm, she stayed on the phone with me, listened, had compassion and gave me excellent advice. She than went on to recommend other places for me and provided me names and phone numbers. She didn’t have to, there was no gain for her. Thank you.Over and above, and from reading a few other reviews, this is a great place of business, well done.

They did not close on the sale of our home properly, still dealing with issues years later, yes years later an absolute disaster! Also had a co-habitation agreement done by Kinder, when it came to use it, David Kinder said not much he can do even though he wrote it! He also billed me an hour of his time to tell me this. Fortunately my partner was more honourable this this law firm and went by the agreement. Our realtor, Faisal strongly advised us not to use them and use Bob McMaster law firm instead who shook their head at the agreement and said why anyone would write such a poor agreement that was vague, hard to understand, unenforaceable and would never hold up in any court of law. I got lucky.. but really, how this place is still around? I was hesitant to write a bad review but I really think others should be aware and pick a place with true professionalism, you may pay more but worth every single penny! I like their response to 1* reviews, we have no record of you being a client" - yeah right!"

My husband and I just had Kinder Law to up our Will and Power of Attorney. We were both so impressed with not only the legal advice and service in getting our Will and Power of Attorney completed. But the most impressive part was how they took the time to ensure our and their own safety during this pandemic. They have created an atmosphere that not only is safe but makes you feel safe and comfortable. In today's strange times all the staff at Kinder Law made sure that my husband and I not only felt safe but were safe. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for us. Another great experience with Mr. Kinder and his staff. They are a busy law practice but accommodated me and my busy scheduled in a very acceptable time frame and got the work done as painlessly as possible.
