Very delicious and passionately prepared food, interesting combination of flavors! The service was outspokenly kind and attentive, the waitress explained every detail of the menu. Service was a bit too slow. All in all, highly recommend this place!

Went for the $69 Tuesday tasting menu. It was amazing and we still can’t believe it was so cheap! We had it modified to be pescatarian. If we lived in the city we would have a standing reservation every Tuesday! We highly recommend! Service was outstanding and all the wine recommendations from our server were unique and delicious.

We went there last night after reading the reviews and their 4.7/5 rating on Google Maps. La Planque did not disappoint. The servers were attentive, super friendly, and never left our water run low. It was a pleasure to sit by the bar and admire the chefs make food. We had foie gras (pate made of goose liver) for starter, veal (calf meat) and sweetbread (an organ of a young cow or sheep) for the main course. No offense to Montreal, but this is easily better than all the food I’ve had in Montreal!

What a delightful dinner experience! The place is really cool, amazing interiors, and a unique friendly vibe! The waitress team are absolutely outstanding! The food? Well, it’s just amazing! Each dish was a unique experience! Make sure you also order dessert! It’s delicious! Great drinks too and amazing offer of wine by the glass! The Chefs are great! And the cutest team I have seen in a kitchen! A Bravo to this restaurant and people! One of my best dining experience!

Coup de coeur! My favourite place in Quebec. The dishes were incredible, we could taste all the ingredients and went so well together. We were 3 and shared 3 entrees, 2 main dishes and 2 desserts, it was awesome because we got to try many different things. The cocktails were delicious. Also a 5 star service!2years later: came back again! This place keeps exceeding my expectation! Best service by Edouard!

Oh my! This is a meal that we won't forget for a long time. We booked our reservations months in advance as we wanted to experience a highly rated restaurant during our visit to Quebec. We are so glad we did. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed. The service was friendly, genuine, and knowledgeable. Most of all, the food was absolutely delicious. The reviews say it all. Every dish was well thought of and composed. The ingredients and flavours were all at once creative and comforting. It was a meal filled with oohs and aahs. A must visit if you appreciate food made with passion. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Quebec City. Highly recommend!

What an experience. First of all, the service was outstanding. Our server didn't make us feel bad about not speaking French. She was so kind and helpful. We elected to share 3 medium sized appetizers and 1 entree between the two of us. The portions were so generous, we had no room left for dessert. Screw special occasions, I'd eat here every day of the week if I lived nearby.

This is a severely underrated restaurant which serves dangerously delicious food at reasonable prices. We ordered half a dozen of oysters, duck ham, bluefin tuna from the Gaspéie, foie gras and flank steak to share.Basically we don't speak French at all but the servers could speak very fluent English. Our server carefully went through each item on the menu and explained what it was, where did it come from and what's in the dish. Even though we could not make up our mind and half thinking about sharing, the server gave us time and encouraged us to share, which resulted in us over ordering somewhat, but the amount was at the end just nice.The oysters were really fresh and rich which was well worth the price. The duck ham required quite a lot of skill to prepare and it tasted really rich as well but not gamey at all. What's interesting was the foie gras, it was very creamy and nice, and the brioche bread complemented it perfectly. The bluefin tuna and flank steak were perfectly executed with the sauces and garnishing.Overall, it was a really excellent dining experience and the attention as well as service level was top notch. I would definitely want to come back here again and this will always be on my check list when I visit (hopefully their standard don't drop as they gain more popularity).

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at La Planque. Samuel was very friendly and helpful with the service that made our experience much better. We dined on the patio with the street closed off and enjoyed every biteThe scallops are a must. The flavors were great, good balance of textures and tasted super fresh.Shrimp and caviar were cooked perfectly. Pork terrine was something new for us and went well with the bread and leek butter they providedOverall, would easily recommend this to anyone and it is well worth the trip. We walked about 30mins to get there and would do it againAttention to detail was on point, made sure we had everything we needed but not so overcrowded. Big wine list which was a plus!
