Have been calling for days just to speak to someone about Mental Health programs available in the area. No one has called back, and only have been able to reach an answering message. How disappointing and sad...I am not in crisis but have been in the past, and this kind of poor service is discouraging and unacceptable if you ask me....

Great service to have. People need to realize it’s not the business fault it’s our government and lack of aid for mental health services. I’m a person that uses this service and I’m not the only one. Stop giving bad reviews and being so selfish. There’s a reason they aren’t answering your call Because there’s probably 10 other people that have their attention.Reviews for those that have stayed show the amazing support that the people here do.Before leaving a negative review consider my review. Also there are multiple other resources you can find online if this one just happens to be overly busy. If you really want help you will find other resources. It’s happened to me and I do.

Was offered group therapy and counseling, never received the group therapy, the counciling consisted of 2 yes or no questions every month. Anything outside of these questions were not covered. Cannot recommended this place to anyone

I've been a few times in the past couple years, and they're very helpful. You can talk about what's going on, and they also refer you to programs to help further.

I wouldn't recommend this place because I do not get the impression they received any diplomas or any experience with themselves to help others or give advice. The best ones to give advice are those who have gone through it .

CMHA had an integral role in my recovery from a complete breakdown in 2016. Prior to the pandemic, I attended a weekly group every week. During the pandemic the group was put on hold for a bit and eventually offered virtually. I much preferred the in-person groups and found them very helpful. I docked 2 stars because my case manager and her manager concluded that I no longer needed the help of a case manager and discharged me. It's almost like they punished me for succeeding in getting better. I did try to ask to continue because historically my state of mind comes and goes in waves and my case manager just insisted that I was doing better than her other clients. Again, it felt like a punishment rather than some type of graduation. I would have really appreciated ongoing support.

The perfect place to go if you want a support worker who will passive aggressively do their best to do absolutely nothing for you while blaming you and your mental health issues for their lack of help, before ghosting you so they can close your file despite them KNOWING that you have issues with keeping track of things. She also sat on paperwork that I needed sent out for WEEKS before sending it, despite it being a simple email needing to be forwarded. But all the blame is placed on me, for having mental health issues which prevent me from doing things in a timely manner. This place has done more to harm my mental health than it ever did to support me.Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.Especially from Francesca Virgilito, the most useless human being to ever live.
