Medical Arts Family Practice

They are not actually a walk-in clinic. When I called and asked if they were a walk in clinic, they said I had the wrong office. It should be illegal for them to have walk in clinic in their name if they aren't one.

I absolutely love Dr. Ghelani and her staff. Most doctor’s offices have miserable front desk staff but this place is totally different. I’ve never had a bad experience! All staff are always smiling and very very very welcoming! My husband and I both go here and plan to keep her as our family doctor when we move to Welland next month!

This clinic certainly all sorts of colorful downtown characters ;)It certainly deserves more than 3.3 stars though. I have always had a good experience here with the friendly staff. The wait time can be unpredictable though, so be mindful of the cutoff time for intake if you have to come in closer to their closing time.

Friendly staff and a helpful doctor. Also handled my situation very well, given the circumstances, and removed my stitch pain/blood free. Only complaint is the chairs are uncomfortable if you are in pain, but I won't go down a star for just that. Would definitely recommend and I will go back if I need a walk-in again.Note: Like most walk-ins wait times can be drawn out. So unless you show up bright and early at open time, expect a 45 to 90 minute wait. It gets busy after 10-11am to close.

Dr. Nathoo is my primary care physician and he's wonderful! Helpful, always takes time to address my concerns and I never feel rushed. He's always open to trying new options and educating me on all my choices.The office staff is friendly and helpful. I don't care about the appearance of the clinic (it's quite dated inside), as the level of care is excellent.

Very disappointed. As a healthcare professional myself who had to take a full day off work for a doctor’s appointment that would have taken approximately 20 minutes, I am very upset that my time was not respected. I had a Doctor’s appointment scheduled for this morning with one of the doctors at this clinic, I came a bit late as I thought my appointment was at 9:30 am when it was apparently for 9am. I had asked if there’s any way I can be seen today (any time) as I had commuted from out of town. I was willing to wait around and even noted that there was nobody in the waiting area. But the response was…If I get seen today, “everything” would get pushed back.I work in a very busy hospital, and I appreciate/understand how valuable our time is, but I also understand that everyone has different circumstances that should be kept in mind. There has been many times where I have had to rearrange my day to accommodate for patients (i.e. new referrals, discharges, family meetings) and have stayed late on several occasions. I just feel that some Family doctors need to be more flexible and more understanding , especially when their appointments can only be booked during the work week ….Monday -Thursday between 9am - 3pm. Needless to say, I will be getting a new family doctor.

Dr. Ghelani is excellent! She is up to date, thoughtful and practical. She understood my unique situation and worked with me to make sure I had the right medical care and medications needed. She always reads reports from other physicians and even caught a lapse in care and called me to discuss. She goes well above and beyond for her patients and I feel grateful she is my primary doctor!

Dr. Ghelani is the best!!! I'm in chronic pain 24 7, and I'm 34 n had rheumatoid arthritis for 30 years, so sometimes when I see him I'm not polite, but he listens and is nice, due to the pain sometimes I feel like snapping, but I don't because everyone is so nice there.... thanks Dr ghelani !!!

I've been to a couple of Walk In Clinics in the Hamilton area recently and have to say Medical Arts Walk In Clinic (on James St S. in the Medical Arts building) by far has to be the best Walk In I have been at. Very clean and spacious facilities.The doctor I saw was super nice with great bed-side manners and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and actually enjoyed looking after patients! Best of all, I was in and out in 30 mins!Thank you docs and staff ...I'll be back and will let all my contacts know about Medical Arts Walk In.

I have been going to dr ghelani since her practice was up in the mountain. I'm so glad that I followed her to her new practice. I had an injury a few years ago and she has been amazing advacating for me with specialists and testing. She is very professional, effeciant and even when she is short in time, she still takes the time to listen. She was even seeing patients in the office through the pandemic unlike so many other doctors out there all because she truly cares!Her staff is also very friendly and you always get a smile and nice greeting even when I'm sure they are having a hectic day. I'm so happy to be one of her patients!
