Mica Mountain Lodge & log cabins

Great friendly owners; cute and cozy cabin; beautiful rustic" interior; small but fully functional kitchenette (no oven) stocked with cookware/dishes; amazing winter views of snow covered mountains

We stayed at the Mica Cabin and it was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The kitchen appliances all worked without problems, and there was plenty of space to cook dinners and breakfasts. The view out the window over the mountains, and the sunsets were stunning.We did notice several notices scattered throughout the cabin with rules on them. I suppose that some guests have been careless or rude, but it did seem a little unfriendly.The cabin is out of sight of the other two cabins and the main house, and was very quiet and peaceful. As noted before, the wifi is available only near the main house and not in the cabins.We walked through the Jackson flats which is about ten minutes away, and it was beautiful and interesting nature reserve in a unique place - sand dunes in the middle of the mountains with fields of lichens.

This was our 1st stay here and we instantly fell in love with the calmness. The Mica cabin we stayed in was absolutely perfect! We felt at home as soon as we walked in! Amazing views from our front porch of the mountains, best way to start your day! This home away from home is just what one needs to relax! Elke is the perfect host that can help you with any of your questions! The cabins are in the perfect location for adventure types or even those who just want to relax!

The cabin are delightful. Awesome views, comfortable and well appointed. Elke keeps the cabins in immaculate condition and a tour with Juergen in the Ranger is an unforgettable experience. If you want to get away from the hubbub of life yet still have all the comforts of home, this is the place! I have already booked for another stay next year.

Our stay at Mica Mountain Lodge was our first time renting a cabin, and after a wonderful six nights it will be very difficult to ever go back to camping again. The cabin (the “Mica Cabin”) was clean, cozy, and the kitchenette was fully stocked with enough cookware and accessories to make cooking very easy. There was a heat wave during the week we spent in our cabin, but we were very happy to find that the cabin stayed cool throughout the whole day as long as we left some windows open. Elke was a fantastic host and came in daily to clean bathrooms and check if we had everything we needed. The cabins and associated property (fire pit, porch, picnic table) are spaced far apart to allow for a great deal of privacy; despite all three cabins being mostly booked for the six nights we spent there, we did not see anyone besides Elke for our entire stay. The best part of our stay in the Mica Cabin was the view of the mountain range – we ended up spending much more time at the cabin than we had originally planned just to relax and enjoy the views from the living room and porch. We will definitely be returning to Mica Mountain Lodge in the future, and have already recommended it to many people looking for a trip to the Mt. Robson/Jasper area.

This place feels like a home away from home. We have stayed in the bear cabin for going on 4 nights. This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to enjoy our honeymoon and unwind from everyday life. Elke is very easy going and you can see the love she puts into her cabins and the surrounding area. Our cabin was nice and hidden and has an amazing view of the mountains to enjoy with morning coffee, and a great little fire place to enjoy your evenings. Elke provides pamphlets and her own little book of things to see in the area. We went to see quite a few of her recommendations and enjoyed every single one. Thank you for making our trip amazing. We hope to come back soon.

I can only comment on the cabins. The ATV tours were fully booked during our stay. There are three cabins that are relatively close together, but dense forest provides plenty of privacy. The cabins are simple and cozy, as advertised. The Southwest facing deck has a covered seating area and a lovely mountain view. Perfect for watching the sunset. There is also a fire pit and picnic table nearby. Great for roasting marshmallows The bed is comfortable, bathroom clean and functional, and the kitchen made it easy for us to prep food for the next leg of our trip. WiFi is available near the office, but not in the cabins. No big deal for us, but be warned. It's all the little things like the deck view, fire pit and generous host that makes this destination 5 stars.

What an amazing place to say! Words can't even describe how beautiful it is at Mica Cabin! We will definitely be coming back. The owners maintain this place and are absolutely hands down incredible people. They create a welcoming get away! We have one night left and we don't want to leave. The views are breath taking, Elke is so kind and made coming here super easy! We traveled from Ontario and are so happy we found this oasis! This is the place to go hands down! Elke showed us many amazing sites to hike and fishing spots around that are minutes away which makes these cabins the perfect spot! We saw the nothern lights from the beautiful deck. The cabin is cozy :) Elke had a yummy treat waiting for us here during our week long stay which showed us her love for her cabins and guests!Definitely the place to go!!!

Incredible place! Normally lodging doesn't make it on the highlight list of a trip but this is the exception! I will definitely be a memory of this trip. Super clean, comfy and the view is absolutely amazing. 100% recommended!

The cabins were perfect , a comfortable bed , and overall a very clean, well kept cabin. Wouldn't think twice about recommending , will be back!! And what a VIEW !!!
