I went across town to Amy for a fleece jacket to be altered - sleeves shortened and body narrowed. It was worth the drive. She did it to my satisfaction at a good rate. She is very friendly and made the time spent in her store an enjoyable one!

I’m so glad that I found Two Sister’s! I needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed, the straps shortened, and the slit raised within 1 week. They were more than happy to accommodate this for me and it fit perfect when I picked it up. I definitely recommend and will go back in the future.

Amy did a wonderful job with the adjustments we needed for a bridesmaid dress and groomsman outfit. Amy was very fair in pricing and gave us her professional opinion on the alterations. Amy even made an effort to be at the shop during a power outage, so we could pick up our items from her on time. Overall good experience.

I used 2 sisters for my pants alteration. It was done so perfectly. Didn’t seem like it was altered. There was very good finishing. Also the best part was that I needed it a little early than usual and she accepted the request and delivered it on time. I will definitely recommend them to anyone in the Kingsway and Nanaimo neighbourhood. The price point is also very reasonable.

Charged $20 for a simple jacket sleeve hem; stitching is jagged and inconsistent.It took 14 days to complete. I showed up on the designated pick-up date but she had forgotten to do it. I called 3 days later—still not ready. Called on the 14th day and it was finally ready.

Amy's dedication to her craft is commendable, and she stands as one of the most diligent tailors we've ever encountered. Her warm and kind demeanor makes every visit a pleasant experience.We've had a few instances where alterations didn't quite meet our expectations, but Amy never hesitated to make it right. She would promptly redo the alterations free of charge, demonstrating her commitment to customer satisfaction. I recommend this shop for anyone in need of reliable tailoring services.

I am so disappointed with the quality of their workmanship. They (maybe) charge cheaper than most other places, but you get what you pay for. My new pants and HH jacket needed trimmings (hem and sleeves). It doesn’t matter how expensive your garments are, they will end up looking cheap if this is how poorest they do their job - very unprofessional. They used green thread to hem my pants which has original white stitching. Also my jacket is all wrinkled up where the stitches are. The photos will say it all. It was my first, and no doubt was my last. I was so disappointed that I borrowed my mom’s sewing machine and educated myself in no time. I had to redo what they did. Also, they give you a deadline date and time. When time comes, they want you to call first to make sure your stuff is all ready. In fact, I feel when you call, that’s when they start rushing with your stuff.
