The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. What more could you ask for? The pizza toppings offered here are not your standard fare, but they're delicious and well-thought-out combinations. The real star of the show though is the crust. The sourdough really shines through, and its texture is to die for. I'll definitely be back!

I don’t even know where to begin with this place. From the moment you walk through the door, the aroma of fresh baked sourdough envelopes your senses. The space is bright, welcoming, excellent music in the background. Staff is beyond lovely…..then you taste the food. The pizza is the best I’ve had in Canada. Seriously. From coast to coast have never had a better pie. The cinnamon buns? Better than my mom’s, and I’d wager they’re better than yours. What an incredible spot. Oh yeah - the coffee is spectacular as well. I cannot wait to visit Kenora again, just to have this experience. Well done folks.

The best piece of pie you'll ever have. Their market pie is a personal favorite and changes weekly. It's always creative and delicious. They also offer salad and soup incase pizza isn't for you. As if the pizza wasn't a big enough draw, the coffee and cinnamon buns are also irresistibly good. The staff are super friendly and hospitable. My go to spot.

Excellent, properly made artesian sourdough pizza. Clearly the best pizza in Kenora, by a huge amount. The cinnamon bun was excellent as well. The owner was awesome, and it's obvious she has a passion for the food she makes.

Travelled across the country just to sample their pies. Well worth the trip. And will be back. Oh, trying their bread for tonight. And a cinnamon bun. All on a sourdough base. Great coffee too. If this sounds over the top … so be it!

Excellent pizza, friendly service, and great atmosphere! I would highly recommend visiting Black Oven the next time you're craving pizza. They also offer salads, baked goods, and coffee (espresso).

Like a cozy hug walking into the Black Oven on any day! The pizzas are ready so fast in their big oven and the bread is baked to perfection! If you're coming to Kenora, make sure you try the best coffee, pizza, bread, cookies you'll ever taste! They also have an amazing section in the back with outstanding condiments and home staples. I get my bread, plant based cream and coffee beans there as often as possible!

Best pizza spot in the city! Don’t miss! We stopped here on our way from Winnipeg to Toronto. We had a vegetarian pizza, coffee and cinnamon rolls. All were 10/10. They use natural ingredients, fresh veggies and everything is great in taste.The owner is very very sweet and generous. I was visiting with my kids. She was very kind and gave them cinnamon rolls and didn’t even charge us. Never seen anyone go out of their way to make kids happy. Will definitely visit again!!!!
