Freshco Jane & Denison

Attempted to use self checkout today. All was going well until I was charged $8.50 for bacon, I was able to remove the item, but the system won't allow me to keep checking out until an employee approves the change. The gentleman (term being used VERY loosely here) working the area didn't see us at first, probably because he was wearing sunglasses indoors. We flag him down. He's helping somebody behind us. We make eye contact, and he gives us the 'wait a minute finger', then he walks over to help a lady again behind us, then to a checkout right beside us. I think we are next since we've waited as he helped 2 other customers after we got the finger. He has the audacity to walk right by us to a woman who just started checking her items out. We call him out, and he says, You have to wait." I say we did already! I left all of my items

I must say this is not only the best branch of Freshco but the best grocery store I could ever find in York. It is well-stocked and managed very well. I am a vegetarian, and I get almost everything that I need to have. Besides, I would like to specifically mention a cashier’s name, Varun who is adept at customer service. He, very calmly goes beyond his capacity to help the customers. I had an amazing experience shopping here! Must visit this store!

Love this store. If you can't find something just ask and they will show you where it is. This store is very clean and have great prices. Fresh vegetables and fruits. My number one store . Thank you Freshco

Love this grocery store. Big and clean. Lots to choose from. Staff was also friendly

They have a lot of selection, prices are the best in the city in this terrible time of inflation.I found no grass-fed/organic meat, chicken or eggs which would make my life easier to save me a trip elsewhere, but other than that everything is great.

Always check your receipts, how many times I catch different price I don’t remember

I'm not from the neighborhood but l loved it. Very clean, organized and well stocked. Asked for help from the assistant and they were very helpful my getting things at the top shelves to directing to which area l can find the item.

Fresh produce, good prices, good variety of international foods. New store so holding on to 5 stars to see how well they will maintain it and keep up the good service in the long run.

Nice place for a family grocery shopping. You can find almost all the groceries over here. They have a separate section for Asian foods. The customer service is so excellent. We selected the self checkout option and most of the time we have trouble with the system. The lady over there helped as a lot..
