I went there with my 3 year old granddaughter. We both needed blood work.They took mine first and let her sit on my lap and watch and then they took hers Our tech Martha was beyond kind and patient and playful with us. What a wonderful experience. Thank you so much.

Do NOT go to this lifelabs. The staffwere screaming at each other at the top of their lungs while I was waiting toget my blood work done. They were yelling so loudly at each other and it was an extremely uncomfortable experience. They did not know what was going on with my paperwork and it took them over 45 minutes to figure it out. There was no line up and I waited almost an hour to finally get my blood taken. When the girl poked me with the needle it hurt very bad which I have never experienced before then she started yelling to the front desk “HELP!” as she had released the tourniquet too soon and needed assistance. All around, it was an extremely unprofessional, and horrible experience.

I figured I'd go to this location and try it since the location a few buildings over charges $4 for parking. After visiting this location I'm now okay with paying for parking at the other location. Good thing I showed up ten minutes early, it took about ten minutes of waiting just to get to the counter because the lineup was out the door. There were people coughing around me, including the worker serving me at the counter. Everyone in the waiting room can hear your entire conversation at the counter, there's 0 privacy and everybody watches so if you have social anxiety this isn't the place for you. I laughed when I saw the sign in the lineup to stay behind the line to give the person infront of you privacy. You're standing maybe two feet away, you'd have to be completely deaf not to hear the entire conversation. Heck, it doesn't matter where you stand in the room, you can hear wherever you are standing. Even though I had an appointment, I wasn't called into a booth for another 10 minutes. The waiting room was extremely loud and busy. And of course there was the typical baby crying loudly scenario. The lady at the counter wasn't very nice. She seemed extremely stressed out and impatient. The lady who drew my blood put the vials with blood right infront of me. Good thing I'm not someone who passes out when they see their own blood. It also hurt quite a bit when she put the needle in. I'm sure I'll bruise later.

The website should indicate you have to pay for parking. You are not able to upload your reqs and need to bring a paper copy. Go to Dynacare.

Emailed my requisition form and went in the next day to be told it takes 24hrs to receive it (it had been 24hrs) because the emails go to head office in Toronto and then get sent to the correct life labs, I find this hard to believe as I didn’t put in the subject line which location I wanted to go to. They couldn’t find it so I was asked to leave and “come back in 24-48hrs” I went back Monday and they still didn’t have it (was now 4 days since I sent it in) so I resent it in front of them and they got it right away no problem. I’m not sure if the girl was new or what but it’s disappointing having my time wasted like that. The girl that took my blood was amazing. No complaints besides the front desk staff, very unprofessional and rude.

Had terrible experience today at this life labs centre. It’s just not one thing to say but multiple bad experiences in just single appointment. Booked an appointment and they made us to wait for more than 20 mins, when we informed the staff that we are getting delayed for another appointment they don’t even regret that they are making us wait. Later the lady who attended doesn’t know the paper work that has to be done before blood work and makes me wait for another 10 mins then she pokes with the needle so bad that after 8 hrs my arm is still painful and with a bruise around that area. She sends me out without returning my health card for which I had to come back again which is an additional time waste since I was already delayed because of them. I am in Canada since 10 years but never had such awful experience ever at any place or at any time. I sincerely advise not to visit this place friends. Thanks for reading all along. Take care!

The wait times can be pretty long for those with appointments (30 to 60 min past appointment), and for walk ins (1-2 hrs). It's a really busy place. The facility is clean and the staff are very good, but bring a book and be prepared to wait.

Respectful and professional, trans friendly. The only issue is the waiting rooms are packed and wait times are often long, this isn't their fault but its good to be aware of it. I recommend booking an appointment in advance

Can’t say enough about the wonderful staff at this location. I went in with my 11 month old baby, intending to book an appointment for their required blood work. Not only did they accommodate me this morning as a walk-in, but the specialist who collected my baby’s samples was amazing with children and has extensive experience working with children in these settings. Wow! Everyone was truly so kind and accommodating, from intake to completion it was a seamless experience, which is saying a lot! And no tears!!
